Lighthouse Beach
Verudela, 52100, Pula, Croatia
Our meeting point will be the Lighthouse at Cape Verudica, which is part of the peninsula Punta Verudela, 4,5km south of the city. Close to the Lighthouse is also the Bonaca Restaurant. If you are reaching Verudela by public transport take the bus line 2A or 3A to Verudela.

Enjoy a morning or evening by the Croatian seaside and find your creative side. This watercolor workshop was wonderful and really pushed my creativity and revealed a new interest and skill. Renata the hosting artist is kind and patient in her instruction. Great for artists and non artists

Renata was so fun. Painting with her was a blast. She took her time, showed us techniques and explained how watercolors are different than other methods of painting. Her communication was fantastic. She also had a plan B if it rained (which it did). Would highly recommend. My only suggestion is to offer 2 classes with and without practice painting. We ran a bit long. Didn’t mind at all because we loved the company.

Dear Cinda, thank you so much for you beautiful review and your honest suggestion. I was thinking about the same this summer and am considering the option to indroduce shorter (separate) workshops with only 1 painting (exercise). In my very beginnings the workshop consisted only of the main painting and the time frame was a shorter. But then few people suggested some practical and basic introduction to the watercolor technique (which I already did during the main painting but not that detailed like now in the very first introduction exercise) and this is why I introduced it. From the very beginning the feedback for this exercise was very positive and everyone encouraged me to keep doing it. But I also admit that sometimes it gets a bit too long. I will consider for sure your suggestion and try out to offer 1,5h and 2,5h workshops. It was a real pleasure painting with you and your family. A beautiful afternoon (despite the rain) with such loving people. I hope to see you one day again. Lots of Love, Renata

Der Workshop war hervorragend! In traumhafter Umgebung hat Renata sich ausreichend Zeit genommen und mir unterschiedliche Aquarell-Techniken beigebracht, was anschließend in einem größeren Bild angewendet werden konnte. Da ich etwas langsam war und es dunkel wurde, hat Renata sogar spontan angeboten, das große Bild am Folgeabend zu Ende zu malen! Super flexibel und sehr nett! Für alle die Interesse am Aquarellmalen haben, kann ich den Workshop unbedingt empfehlen!
