It was interesting learning how the dogs are trained to find truffles. It was fun to watch the dogs in action. The food preparation and tasting were both lovely. Very nice people!

Great experience! I went with my sister and 80 year old father and the trek in the woods, though a little muddy/slick, was very manageable. The dogs and Miro were charming and fun! The dogs found two black truffles and one white truffle (September is the beginning of white season and the end of black). The lunch afterward was delicious, and Miro’s daughter, an anthropologist, gave a great talk about the history of the truffle market. Highlight of our trip in Istria. Highly recommend!
