Great tour and tour guide! Lakes! Falls were beautiful!

Wonderful tour. The guide, Matko referred to this site as the treasure site of Croatia that most Croatians visit and wow, he was right. We loved him and the magnificent lakes and falls. The setting was very peaceful. Matko was one of the best guides we have had. He drove us to the site and stayed with us and shared lots of info on the site and I do on the history and culture of Croatia.

Overpriced

Plitvice lakes is beautiful and a must-see destination in Croatia. Our driver, Maja, was kind and inclusive. However, this tour is extremely overpriced. You are driven to the lakes in an older 7-seater car. Maja was knowledgeable and was providing information about each location that we drove past, however, we were sat at the back so couldn’t hear a thing. Once at the lakes, you are required to provide €40 each in cash for your ticket into the lakes - in my opinion, this should be included given the price point of this tour. Ultimately, I think this is extremely overpriced and not worth the amount I paid. I would’ve been happy to give a 5-star review if it was at least half the price.

Awesome hiking adventure

The park is about 2.5 hours outside of Rijeka- know ahead of time it will be an all day experience. It is also very hilly and slippery on the paths, wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Our guide and driver Maja was awesome and super sweet- she was very accommodating.
