Top Rovinj Audio Guides

Two skinny calves once pulled a floating marble tomb up a hill in Rovinj that no team of oxen could shift, and that’s an important premise of this self-guided tour of Rovinj. The old town, until a little over two hundred fifty years ago, was an actual island, cut off from the mainland and connected by a drawbridge. The channel filled in, making way for the tall, narrow houses you're about to walk past. Walk at your own pace as you play through our audio-guide app, following the old shoreline through Balbi's Arch, past the winged lions the Venetians carved into nearly every wall, and out to a chapel where a children's hospital quietly began Rovinj's tourism story. No fixed start time, no rigid schedule, no group to keep up with. Walk it in two hours or stretch across an afternoon. Over 25,000 travelers have used our self-guided tours, backed by a full refund guarantee. A good fit for anyone who wants Rovinj's history, self-guided, at their own pace.
