Not a great trip. The boat was not in good shape, and it was not a real fishing boat, since it did not have a center console. The crew was pleasant and tried to be helpful. We also spent a lot of time speeding around the island, and relatively little time fishing, and we only caught 2 fish.

We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. At no point do we advertise or claim that this tour uses a center-console fishing boat. Reef fishing on our island is commonly done from many different types of vessels. Guests looking specifically for a dedicated offshore or deep-sea sportfishing charter may be better suited to a different type of excursion.
Regarding the time spent "speeding around the island," this was actually part of the fishing experience. Trolling requires the boat to travel at speed in order to target species such as barracuda, snapper, and grouper. This is a standard fishing technique used throughout the region.
As for the number of fish caught, fishing is never guaranteed. Catch rates depend on weather, sea conditions, fish activity, and angler participation. Our crew provided guidance and instruction throughout the trip to help maximize success.
We respect all guest feedback; however, we feel this review does not accurately reflect the tour as advertised or the efforts made by our crew to provide an enjoyable fishing experience.

From the moment we arrived at the dock, Brian, the owner of Aqua Adventures, made us feel welcome and ensured everything was ready for an unforgettable day on the water. Captain PQ and Dimitri were outstanding from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly passionate about what they do.
The trip was so much more than just fishing. We started by heading to the shallow waters to catch fresh conch, which was an incredible experience. Then we caught smaller bait fish using octopus and squid before using those bait fish to target larger fish like barracuda and Spanish mackerel. It felt like a true hands-on island adventure from beginning to end.
What really stood out was how interactive the experience was. Instead of simply heading offshore and waiting for something to bite, we were constantly engaged, learning, catching fish, and enjoying the beautiful waters of Turks and Caicos. It was far more fun and memorable than any deep-sea fishing trip we've done.
Beyond the fishing, Captain PQ and Dimitri made the tour even more enjoyable by sharing interesting stories about the beautiful beachfront homes we passed and the people who own or have lived in them. Their local knowledge gave us a fascinating glimpse into the island and added another layer to an already great experience.
Captain PQ and Dimitri worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a great time, and their expertise, personalities, and storytelling made the trip even better. The wind and the cold front made for tough fishing, but these guys made sure we had a great time! We picked huge live conch and a good time snorkeling to make up for it!
