Bad experience. Waste of money.

Lucy_H, Feb 2026
Bad experience. Regret wasting my money. I paid extra for a private tour with an English speaking guide/driver. He could not speak or communicate in English at all which was extremely difficult. Then I could have just hired a cheap taxi.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. The worst travel experience yet.

gqv8csmqyq, Dec 2025
Lets start off by the fact that the travel agency did not contact me before hand, did not confirm and I haven’t heard from them at all. So I wasnt sure if someone was really coming to pick me up on the day or not. Nevertheless The driver arrived on the day (late) to pick me up BUT ALONE. No tour guide! He barely spoke any english and just started driving me without saying a word apart from hello. I asked him where is the tour guide for a full day tour that I payed nearly $150 he then said “no guide boss said only me take you”. This felt extremely off to me and very undervalued to what I payed for, not just the money side of it, but the expectation and the high hopes I had to learn more about the cultural, spiritual, & traditional information about the country & the sites I travelled 27 hours to visit and be shown and taken on a supposedly guided trip with a tour guide! Nevertheless I tried to stay calm and we went to the first location which was a temple that required a short hike, the driver complained and told me that he hasnt done the temple hike in over 5 years…. Sorry?!! I was so shocked knowing he’s clueless but I carried on, when we got to the top I felt so connected and asked for information on what I was looking at… He had no clue whatsoever and it wasnt because of the language barrier but he genuinely did not know any information about the site. I got really angry and asked him to call his “boss” which I complained to about how disrespectful and disappointing it is for tourists that value culture of the country to be faced with neglect because the “boss” wants to keep the money in his pocket and not pay a tour guide but only a driver! He was so rude on the phone his only response was you’re not getting your money back when I havent mentioned the money once to him. It was a complaint about the disappointment of ethics & morals of wasting my time which was very limited in Nepal and disappointing me. He said he was gonna send a tourguide now. Nevertheless I waited 1 hour and a half at the temple before the guide arrived. So my tour actually started 2 hours and a half after its supposed booked time! When the tour guide arrived he spoke perfect English had great knowledge but made me even more uncomfortable trying his best to make me comfortable. I was made so uncomfortable by him as a woman solo traveller. He mentioned 5 times to take his number & call him if i need anything. Mentioned way over 5 times how much he admires my hair. Mentioned over 3 times how much he likes my tattoos!! And how beautiful my eyes are!!! And was way over faking it trying to accommodate me, kept pressuring me to write him a good review. I really hated every part of this experience. I love Nepal but this is by far the worst travel experience. Whoever this company, these employees, & this boss is, you really did your country very bad. There are amazing people in Nepal but not these people DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY WILL RUIN YOUR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE.

Fantastic morning tour of Pokhara

Sharon_M, Mar 2025
I had the best morning tour ever with Moti. What a lovely guy - with perfect English. He modified the tour a little, as I don't like heights (what am I doing in Nepal then?!) but I still saw some wonderful things, like a very interesting Hindu temple, a waterfall and a monastery. There was even time for a boat ride, a bit of shopping and a coffee. All in all an excellent morning that I really enjoyed. Thank you Moti!

Good entry to Pokhara...

RudyRandall, Apr 2024
Good entry to Pokhara attractions. There was some coordination confusion and our guide seemed inexperienced.

The places in the list...

Basak_S, Apr 2022
The places in the list were amazing. However there were some problems in the tour organization. The guy(both driver and guide) was a bit late and also can not speak in english. After contacting tour operator, they sent someone who knows english.

Response from Host, Apr 2022

Dear Guest Namaste Thank you for your review. Sorry for little bit late and less English speaking guide. Finally i have provide good English speaking guide. In future we won't repeat this problem. Hope to serve you again. Thanks and Regards Customer care Saara Tourism Nepal
