We had an absolutely fantastic time. The boat tour was amazing, the lake is so beautiful. They give you a leaflet that explains everything and provide you with donuts from Montenegro and local wine (lots) which was delicious and you could just help yourself! It is one of the best £13 we’ve ever spent. Plus Braki (our wonderful tour guide - not sure if that’s how you spell it) was the most wonderful person. He found us waiting for the bus and gave us a lift to the train station as the bus stop seemed non-existent. Him and his brother were such lovely people and really engaging. Once again, I throughly recommend this trip!! Braki, if you’re reading this, thank you so much, you are amazing!

The operator offers wise advice about the way other operators try to claim that parking is only free if you go with them. I heard them do this. This is an honest operator. Our captain was friendly and helpful throughout, explaining the sights as we went along, offering free wine, juice and freshly made donuts. Well worth the money.

Wonderful experience. So beautiful even off season. Our guide, Peter, was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed limitless wine and pastries throughout the 3 hour tour. Highly recommended !!!

The most relaxing trip EVER

Sally_R, Jul 2025
We took the 3hr trip to Kom monastery. It was the most peaceful trip I've ever been on, it was heavenly. Our guide pointed out various things on route, had warm donuts for us as we boarded (hubby loved that!) and looked after us well. We had plenty of time to swim in the lake on the return leg, the lake was surprisingly very warm. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience on the 3-hour guided boat tour to Kom Monastery! It’s fantastic to hear that you found the trip so peaceful and heavenly — that’s exactly the kind of serene escape Skadar Lake offers. We’re glad the guide’s warm hospitality, including those delicious donuts, made the journey even more special for you and your husband. The opportunity to swim in the surprisingly warm lake on the return leg is indeed a unique highlight that many guests cherish. Your recommendation means a lot to us! We hope you’ll visit again to explore more of Skadar Lake’s magic! Warm regards, Milica, Kingfisher team

A nice trip (that costs 5 euro more what they say)

Raffaele_A, Aug 2024
The tour was really good, the guide prepared and warmy person. He offered us water, wine, juice and delicateness. We had a great swim, visited a church and the lake in 3 hours. The only thing is that it is not written that you need to pay 5 euro more when you go there. This is not really transparent but the trip is absolutely worthy.

Gorgeous Lily pad lake

It's just a beautiful sight to see, pretty scenery, great for sighting birds and other wildlife. Great captain who gave us wine!
