Head out into the Troodos Mountains with this cultural tour, which mixes sightseeing and culinary adventure. After a visit to the coastal Aphrodite's Rock, you'll make your way inland, visiting traditional villages such as Lofou and Omodos along the way. Itinerary
Start your morning with pickup from your Paphos accommodation or nearby pickup spot and travel down the coast to see the famous Aphrodite's Rock down on the coast, making the most of its convenient location on your route to the mountains.
Relax as the driver of the minibus takes you up into the mountains to the village of Lofou. Hop out here to stretch your legs and sample local halloumi and coffee as you shop at craft stores.
Head farther into the mountains, admiring the scenery along the way, to the traditional village of Omodos. There you’ll be taken to the Timios Stavros Monastery to learn why this is one of the island’s most important monasteries.
After a short stop to see the Millomeris Waterfalls, reward your day’s efforts with some wine tasting at the Lambouri Winery, without the worry of needing to drive yourself back to Paphos.

It was a nice experience to visit the different villages, and the winery. The transportation was ok, a little cramped, but I was comfortable enough. Our tour Anna was knowledgeable, and gave plenty of information about Cyprus, and the villages. All round it was a nice day out and worth the time to see a bit of the inner island

We set off for the mountains in good sunny weather, but by the time we reached our first stop the heavens had opened.
We had torrential rain all day that only eased as we approached Paphos on our return mid afternoon.
We were lucky though as we had an excellent driver called Costas who got us through the flooded roads safely and an amazing, very knowledgeable and funny tour rep called Anna.
Those two could have done nothing more to make our day bearable. We had a very interesting commentary from Anna who described sites and places we couldn’t see due to the misted up windows and the driving rain. I now know a lot more about Cypriot history, villages and climate.
The wine tasting stop was very informative and the sampling very much appreciated as was the marge fire where we could dry ourselves a little.
Thanks Costas and Anna I don’t think you could do anymore.

Badly let down by Viator. Our tour was cancelled on Sat 14th March by the tour company due to “ bad weather”. We agreed they could move it to the Sunday. Saturday stayed dry after some morning rain. Sunday the tour went ahead during torrential rain all day. We spent the whole day wet & cold. The bus we traveled on was shabby to say the least with constant misted windows ( so no view ) and a door that wouldn’t stay closed. The driver kept trying to clear the misted windscreen. I fed this back to Viator and they asked me what outcome I would like. I said a partial refund would be acceptable. They responded with no refund.

Small party excursion around 23 people. Some walking involved but not arduous. Coach arrived on schedule, greeted by a very pleasant and informative tour guide 'Lucy'? Then a nice steady run to our first destination, and it went on from there. Plenty of free time to relax have a drink or a meal. We appreciated the relaxed calm on this excursion, all in all a very enjoyable experience that we would happily repeat again.

This tour was fantastic and it was one of the best tours I have ever done!! Pick up was very straightforward and our guide Angela was amazing and very knowledgeable, we loved her commentary. Absolutely phenomenal tour with Anna as guide & Sam splendidly driving. From the meeting point next to hotel we felt in safe hands and the knowledge & history provided from Anna’s Cypriot connected background truly brought this to life from the beautiful bay of Aphrodite, to the little lost town of Lofus, further deeper & higher into Troodos the fantastic waterfall & then perfect stop for wine tasting (included) & very fun informative insight, then on finally to historic monastery church of holy cross & highest peak beautiful little village was very quirky. Safely home & would highly recommend especially Anna who kept us very well informed with balance of respecting our quiet time yet always being there to make sure everyone was well & pace was suitable. This requires a little bit of walking up/down stairs but not hard and I’m not very fit myself.
Highly recommend this your, my highlight was the wine tasting as the talk was delivered with aplomb and humour and everyone was a lot chattier afterwards!! lol
So pleased I did this on a quieter season as some of those villages were small lanes with cobbled lanes and I can imagine how busy it would be.
Angela the guide was perfect in telling stories and providing updates along the way - made storytelling seem easy and all of it relevant and easy to understand.
The driver- OMG! Outstanding skills in manoeuvring the bus round such tight spaces. He was a gentleman and always happy to help those not as mobile as the rest of us.

Cyprus was the 62nd country I’ve visited and I’ve taken a lot of tours in my travels. This tour easily competes for the top spot for the best tour I’ve ever taken, largely because of our guide, Anna. We had extremely stormy weather on the day of the tour, complete with pouring rain, thunder, lightning. This would put a damper (get it get it) on almost any experience, but Anna’s positive attitude saved the day. She brought the sunshine all in her disposition! She improvised alternative activities that were better in covered areas, she was prepared with plastic capes for everyone, she found places for us to dry and warm up, she was able to showcase the beauty of the area despite the storm. The itinerary of the tour itself was also great, excellent mix of nature, trying local drinks and food, learning about the history and culture of Cyprus. The winery we went to also served spirits, so if you’re not a big wine drinker, there could be something for you too! I could only imagine how phenomenal the tour would’ve been if the weather had cooperated. All this to say, do not miss out on this tour, and if you see rainy weather on the day you’re booked, don’t worry!! It will still be amazing.

Loved our day out yesterday, the tour was excellent, I live here and have done for 10+ years and still learned so much. Anna the tour guide was wonderful, really knowledgeable and fun.
I can’t remember the drivers name but he was possibly the best driver I have come across here, I sometimes get nervous on mountain roads but didn’t worry once yesterday.
