Second Great Trip

Our second tour with Andreas was just as fantastic as the first. After enjoying the Troodos Mountains tour so much, we booked a personalised tour to visit Nicosia and Larnaca, and once again Andreas exceeded our expectations. From the start, Andreas demonstrated excellent knowledge of Cyprus, its history and culture. He was informative, friendly and happy to answer any questions, making every stop interesting and enjoyable. The vehicle was comfortable, spacious and well air conditioned, which was very welcome in the summer heat. Our first stop was the beautiful mountain village of Lefkara, where we wandered through its charming streets and bought some freshly made traditional Cypriot delights. It was a wonderful way to start the day and gave us a taste of authentic village life. In Nicosia, we visited the impressive Venetian Walls, the oldest cathedral, and the Archbishop's Palace. One of the highlights was crossing the UN buffer zone into the Turkish controlled side of the city, where we saw the largest mosque and explored the bustling bazaar. It was a fascinating experience to experience both sides of the divided capital. Unfortunately, the extreme heat became too much for two elderly members of our group, so we decided to cut our time in Nicosia short and skip our planned visit to Larnaca. Andreas couldn't have handled the situation better. He quickly adapted the itinerary and took us to some wonderful alternative locations, including a beautiful traditional bakery next to a Neolithic site, the stunning St George's Cliffs (the White Cliffs of Cyprus), and the breathtaking Rocks of Aphrodite. Although the day didn't go exactly as planned, Andreas' flexibility, thoughtfulness and local knowledge turned it into another amazing experience. He made sure everyone was comfortable while still giving us the opportunity to see some incredible places. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andreas to anyone visiting Cyprus. His knowledge, professionalism and genuine passion for the island make his tours something special. We will definitely be booking with him again when we return to Cyprus in the future.

Amazing Trip

What an amazing day! We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience exploring the Troodos Mountains. A huge thank you to Andreas, who was the perfect tour guide. He was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Before the tour, I had quite a few questions, and he was so patient, helpful and reassuring in answering every one of them. It really set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic day. Every stop on the tour had something special to offer, and the information Andreas shared really helped us appreciate the history, culture and beauty of Cyprus. It was lovely that by the end of the day we all had a different favourite stop, which just shows how well thought out the tour is. For me, the highlight was definitely the Linos Winery, but there honestly wasn't a stop we didn't enjoy. The whole day felt relaxed, welcoming and authentic, and it's given us memories we'll look back on for a long time. We enjoyed the experience so much that we've already booked another personalised tour with Andreas to explore even more of this beautiful island. That probably says more than anything else about how much we enjoyed the day! If you're visiting Cyprus and want to see the island beyond the beaches and resorts, we can't recommend this tour highly enough.
