Palenque

Our driver picked us up an hour late with no apology. We had to call the company to find out there was a flat tire. We left at 10 am instead of 9. Local tour guide Edgar at Palenque was great but we weren’t told the museum there is closed until maybe November. We had 2 hours at palenque. Roberto Barrios waterfalls were beautiful and refreshing. The tour was advertised to last 8.5 hours. Ours was under 6 hours. Not good value for the money.

Very cool experience. The boat is open bar, however if you cannot swim they won't allow you to snorkel which sucks. Because usually everywhere else I go they at least allow you to snorkel with the life vest. The staff speaks both English and Spanish.
