I don’t ever remember getting a more in-depth tour in an art museum. The Marc Chagall museum houses many of Chagall’s most important paintings, and our guide was amazing in explaining their relevance. She was a wealth of knowledge and her stories made the artist really come alive.

I knew of Chagall by name and general impression of his art. But the tour by Marina helped us see the biblical themes as well as the personal profound passionate loves of the painter and artist. I enjoyed the artistic and human perspective of the works and the interpretive viewpoint of our guide.

Marina was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about Chagall’s life and how much his work reflected who he was. We broke down the meaning behind his many symbols and techniques. After, we toured the Cimiez and the ruins, learning more about that area. Marina is kind, easy to talk to and knows her history. We highly recommend this tour.
