Enjoy a private day trip out of Nice to explore some of the other jewels of the French Riviera during a visit to Eze and Monaco. Relax with a professional English-speaking guide at the wheel, navigating the winding roads along the Mediterranean.

Begin with a stop in the Medieval village of Eze, high on the Middle Corniche overlooking Nice and the coast. This town is known for its charming shops, great views and a famous perfumery, where you'll get a guided tour.

Continue your tour by crossing the border from France into the Principality of Monaco. First, visit Monaco's Old Town, where you'll have free time to visit the Royal Palace (open to visitors April-October), see the changing of the palace guard, walk through the cathedral and tour the Cousteau Oceanographic Museum.

Next, back in the vehicle, take one lap around the Formula One Grand Prix circuit that runs through Monte Carlo before you get a little more free time to explore the area around Casino Square. Browse the chic boutiques, watch luxury yachts in the harbor or try your luck at the casinos.

The return trip to Nice is along the Lower Corniche road, where you'll pass by the bay and fortress of Villefranche on your way back to your hotel.

Phenomenal French Riviera experience with an incredible guide!

We toured with David and had a fantastic experience! He was knowledgeable, very attentive, and flexible. He tailored the day to our interests and helped us share some fun experiences including a detailed visit to Eze with a champagne toast looking out over the sea. A highlight was a picnic at a little used park above Eze! He wasn’t rigid with the time schedule, and he stopped several times to show us out of the way places on the way to Monaco.

My husband and I had a fantastic day with our tour guide Nora. We lead a beautiful drive along the French Riviera to Eze and Monaco. Nora provided lots of interesting history and information. The perfume factory tour was a pleasant surprise, short and interesting and we bought some great scents. We saw the changing of the guard at the Monaco palace, old town and the aquarium. Nora drove the Grand Prix route before we headed to the casino, Monte Carlo. What a perfect day!

Nora was an amazing guide, our tour of eze was magnificent from the perfume factory and the F1 track ride, as well as the stop to Casino Royale and Cafe de Paris. Saw the changing of the palace guards, visited the church in Monaco and the Aquarium + shopping and a great pizza lunch on streets of Monaco. Nora was fantastic in her history of Monaco and Eze and we couldnt ask for a better day.

The best part of the tour was our wonderful tour guide Ralph. His English was impeccable and his knowledge of the places we saw and their history was extensive and impressive. And he was so nice!!! We were traveling with my 80 year old grandmother and he took such good care of her and was so patient when she needed anything. He is a very kind man. Overall, we loved Monaco and the palace and the cathedral the best. Thank you Ralph and Viator!!

Very interesting tour overall. Our guide Pierre was very helpful with suggesting nice places for food or things to see and do. Thanks to a great timing, we had a chance to see the guard change ceremony in Monaco, had a walk in Old town of Monte Carlo, visited Aquarium Pierre drove us on the roads of Grand Prix tracks, which were opening a day later. We went to perfume factory for a tour and purchase of some souvenirs, and somewhere in between all of that we were taken to the absolutely amazing place for lunch. All is great, but in our opinion the tour itself is overpriced. To sum it up: our guide Pierre 5 stars, tour is 3. Still, thank you for the experience!

Absolutely amazing tour, worth every penny! We went with a group of 5 of us and our tour guide Joe was awesome. Very accommodating, knowledgable, and made the tour one we will remember for a lifetime. Joe took us to see some amazing views of Nice, and explained the history of Nice and Monaco which made visiting the cities much more interesting. We also went to the famous perfumery in Eze village and had a tour all set up for us when we arrived. This was a fantastic tour and the highlight of our trip, I would highly recommend it!

The day started nicely with personalized pickup at the hotel that was the high point of the day!!. We drove to Eze. During the trip the driver did provide some interesting information about the sites we were going through, however got easily irritated when asked to repeat something his English wasnt the greatest and when he repeated did so with some sarcastic remarks. When we got to Eze, he just showed us a rather simplistic map of the area which is sculpted in a rock at the entrance of the village, and left us on our own. We did not get to find the places we wanted to visit there because there were no more maps. Then he drove up to Monaco and once again just left us there to tour on our own. I understand that independence is nice, but when you pay to have a "private guided tour" you expect that. This was a "private driver" who dropped you at the mentioned locations. There was no "guiding" whatsoever. Take the train in Nice and go up to Monaco and once there, get a Tour Bus. Much cheaper and a lot better. The worst experience of our whole trip!
