Had a great time. Snorkeled with sea turtles and feed the pigs. Our guides were amazing. They texted updates etc. . I left my flip flops on the island and they went out of their way to get them for me on their next trip out.

1 - The snorkeling experience was disappointing, they took us to over trodden little strip of coral with hardly any fish, considering all the beautiful sites in the Bahamas to snorkel this was a big miss. We did see a couple turtles as promised.
2- The boat captain hung out trying to book the boat with more customers for an extra 10 minutes
3- the trip description that I based my booking on did not include the swimming pig thing , but in reality it was the same as other excursions and we waisted time doing that as well (I did not participate, but others seemed to enjoy it even though there was pig poop floating all around them

Clarification on Rose Island Adventure Turtle Swim and Snorkel
Firstly I'll like to address some of your concerns, the main attraction on the tour is the turtles and Rose Island, which we base our itinerary around. You did see a few turtles because that’s our focus; the coral at that stop is an extra. While it’s not as large as some reefs, we choose it for the combination of turtles, coral, fishes, and occasionally a stingray cruising by.
Second, the boat captain isn’t in the business of filling boats by waiting around. The boat was already full, so we operated with two boats that day. The captain told everyone onboard that he would give the party of five a 10-minute grace period. Your tour started at 10:00 am; you departed at 10:10 am, and you returned around 1:30 pm, with extra time provided as you reached back.
Third, the swimming pigs were not part of your tour. You didn’t have to participate, watch, or be around them. There are two other beaches right by the beach bar—one to your left and one to your right. You could have accessed those beaches in under 50 feet and enjoyed other activities at the beach bar if you wished. Lunch or drinks were available as well. The pigs are there for experience, and while they do create some mess, staff clean it up right away with nets. Thank you for your feedback about your interest in the pigs and for noting the details; if it felt like there was excessive focus, we’ll take that into account for future tours.

We had a large group of 18 people and it was a perfect experience! The snorkeling was great, saw some turtles, and had a relaxing time at the island bar, would recommend!

Awesome excursion! We enjoyed the smaller group experience, the captain and crew were great hosts and skilled at driving. We felt safe the whole time. Had plenty of time to snorkel, and enjoyed tasty Bahama Mama’s on the boat. Rose island was absolutely beautiful, we could have spent the whole day on the beach there. We skipped the pig feeding and just took pictures of them instead, then enjoyed the lunch and beach a little longer. Once it looked like we were going to be late returning to the pick up location, we let Captain Higgs know and he did his best to get us back in time for our next excursion, made the return trip 10 minutes faster than normal and we were able to run back to the port in time for the walking tour we had booked (the ship changed the time on that excursion last minute, otherwise we would have never booked two things so close together). Would highly recommend this excursion and was an excellent price compared to booking through the cruise ship!

The whole experience was nice, although the stops were short. The pigs stop for too short to interact with the pigs, have a swim and have lunch.

Thank you for you feedback and we are so elated that you had a good experience with us. Each stop is 40-45 minutes. You booked the Rose Island, snorkeling and turtle spotting which doesn't include interaction with the pigs hence the reason you didn't get to swim with pig.
