The island is beautiful, pigs were fun, be sure to bring your own food. Would do this activity again.

The app said our pick up location was at the Museum of Junkanoo at the cruise port. We waited there for 30 minutes. Finally Tour Daddy called and told us to go back into the cruise terminal, walk past our ship, and they were on the other end. We loaded the boat for our history tour while headed to the island. There is actually no tour where you hear about any history of the island. It is a 40 minute boat ride to the island. There are also no free alcoholic beverages served on the boat even though the listing says there will be. Once we arrived to the island, the workers seemed irritated that we were there. The male bar tender was extremely rude and seemed inconvenienced by our presence. Only one lady at the food line was kind and did not seem mad that we were there. The pigs are kept inside a fenced in lot beside the “beach” so it is smelly. The pigs are very hungry so watch your food because they will steal it. My kids did enjoy the water trampoline, but there is no slide even though one is pictured.

Good Day, Upon review of your booking confirmation, you have booked the BEACH DAY excursion (does not include the pig experience….). We are actually highly confused regarding your mention on pick up location, free drinks or anything historical for that matter as NOWHERE in the BEACH DAY booking does it mention anything you have mentioned in your review. Maybe you were looking at a different company's tour but ended up booking differently? As for the pigs. The pigs are very well-taken care of daily. They have dedicated caretakers that not only feed them daily, they have medical insurance as well. The "pen" is there for their protection and shade. The animals do get sunburned just as humans do. They also need a point of return as the island is 11 miles long.... Thank you!

Beautiful island bad transportation

The island is beautiful, the pigs are adorable, the rum punch was perfect and swaying in a hammock in the breeze is the absolute best way to spend your day, the Island and the people get 5 stars! The transportation and communication, 3 stars at most. We waited on the dock of our pick up spot for over an hour (which is a lot when you only have 4 hours total) there was no communication with any of us on what what taking so long when they would be there or anything we all just sat and waited.

It was confused little bit at first cause noone there at port, but when they appeared on time. It was beautiful island wish i had more time there since i booked tour at 11:30.
