I had a 24 hour stop in New Delhi and I really wanted to see the Taj Mahal, so I signed up for this tour with nervous expectations. And, I was totally impressed! My driver, Paswan was early to pick me up from my hotel, which gave me great confidence in the day, and the fact that we had to drive to Agra with my luggage because I had to be dropped off the same day to fly out that night. When we arrived in Agra, we picked up Farman, who spoke excellent English. He give me an overview of the day and was incredibly knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. He provided just the right amount of information to allow me to ask questions and understand the history without being overwhelmed. I was a little nervous about being a female and doing this round trip visit by myself, but felt completely comfortable. Thank you, thank you for an incredible experience !

Get your own private tour guide who is knowledgeable and on top of that he is a professional photographer. He took the best pics straight from my own phone. The only downside was that I spent way too much money at all the wonderful shopping stops he took me too. Just kidding. There was some very high quality handmade products from local artisans at reasonable prices. And for a female traveling alone I still felt very safe.

My wife and I took the Taj Mahal Private Guided tour which included a car service from our hotel in Gurgaon to Agra, and included a private guide for a tour of the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in Agra. The tour also included a visit to a local marble shaping art shop, and lunch at a local restaurant in Agra. The entire day was excellent and well organized. Our driver, Gurmeet, was prompt in his arrival, and ensured a comfortable ride for the entire trip. He provided plenty of water and snacks as well. The tour guide, Farmaan, was very knowledgeable and helpful in terms of taking us through the sites, and explaining their importance. Both our driver and tour guide were very helpful and pleasant, and made for a fantastic day. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend this tour!
