The Sanjay Colony Slum Tour was an incredibly unique experience that I’m so glad we took. It was a deeply educational journey that genuinely broadened my perspective and provided an eye-opening look into a side of New Delhi that many travelers miss. - The Community: I was struck by how welcoming and nice the people in the area were. There is a real sense of community and industry here that was very unique to witness firsthand. - Our Guide: A huge thank you to our guide, Vijay. Vijay picked us up from the metro and guided us through the Sanjay Colony. This was a really special and eye-opening tour; moreover, because Vijay actually grew up in the neighborhood. We saw people working in the street, sorting through literal tons of factory leftovers; we went into the living spaces and got a rooftop view of the neighborhood; we visited a doctor who has been running a small clinic for the past 30+ years; and, finally, we saw a school where young children came up and practiced some of their English. Vijay was an excellent guide, and we felt like we were in good hands. It was an incredible experience, and I'm so glad we did it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get a sense of real life in New Delhi.

Was a really great experience seeing the slums and how people live in this part of the world. We felt safe the whole time and learned lots of how people lived, all thanks to our tour guide Nisha. I think if you're in Delhi this is a must do tour.
