Our 2-person crew were fantastic in every way, friendly, knowledgable, and great cooks! To see the Cinque Terre from the sea on a boat with plenty of space, then enjoy a fantastic 4-course meal cooked by the crew (using some fish caught on the route itself!) was delightful beyond measure. I can't recommend this tour highly enough, truly.
The boat was easy to find, and we were immediately welcomed by the crew. They had a variety of waters, sodas, and other drinks available. We got underway and immediately the views were outstanding initially of the town of Monterosso. We cruised slowly along the coast, virwing all five towns, and stopping at a few places to enjoy the rock formations and natural caves. We took a swim. We went into an amazing cave. The crew were fantastic, being funny, polite, charming, and even good historians. They talked to us just enough, but not too much. They engaged with each one of us individually at whatever level we wanted. Loris and Eugenio were our crew and they were amazing. Eugenio took us on a swim/snorkel to a cave he found with an underwater swim from one cave section to another for those who wanted to try it.
All this alone would’ve been worth it. But then they started cooking. We had the most amazing authentic seafood lunch. The ingredients were as fresh as could be. We weren’t that lucky on this trip, but if they can catch a fish on the way, they’ll cook it. We had several courses cooked right there on the boat. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy, and that is saying something. it all comes down to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I think I understood that the owners of the boat also own a restaurant in town so they definitely have experience.
All in all, this was a great way to spend an afternoon. It was great to get away from the crowds and relax on the water, enjoying the beautiful views, great company and amazing food.

We booked this tour for our honeymoon trip to Cinque Terre and we could not be happier! To our surprise when we arrived we found out we were the only people who booked the tour. Our boat for 15 comfortably fit the two of us and the crew :) It was magical! The food was beyond belief with focaccia upon arrival and 4 courses when we sat down to lunch. The captain was extremely knowledgeable of all of the areas having grown up in Vernazza and the first mate was excellent as well swimming with us and bartending. It is well worth the money, it is the best way to see all the towns, and it was a gorgeous boat day with options to swim/lounge/learn.
What a perfect day! We stopped in a cove, and Eugenio took us for a swim through a cave that was absolutely beautiful. The food was way better than I expected and they have a full bar on board. It was a wonderful and relaxing day, I’d recommend it to anyone.
This was the perfect way to see the Cinque Terre coast. The villages were gorgeous of course, but we also swam up to a waterfall cascading into the sea and investigated two otherworldly caves. The lunch and drinks were very fresh and delicious. Our captains, natives of the area, gave us interesting info about local life. There was plenty to drink, with good shade on the lower deck and comfy chairs in the sun in the upper. This was the best day of our vacation.
The food was exceptional. Even accommodating a non seafood eater. So much fun! Snorkeling , swimming was a blast. Our hosts were kind and took very good care of all of us.
Last May, my husband and I had an incredible time on this boat tour (sorry it took so long to write a review). It was one of our favorite bookings during our honeymoon. Everyone was so nice, the food (& drinks) were amazing, and the pace of the tour was perfect. And we were able to capture some great photos along the way. Thank you all for the memories.
What an amazing day! Not only were the crew so friendly, they were knowledgeable and spoke multiple languages. The food they served was incredible! They let me fish the ocean for the first time and handled everything so I didn’t have to struggle or hurt myself. Overall I highly recommend booking this experience especially in September ! We met lovely people on the boat and truly loved every moment.
There’s a gorgeous rooftop for tanning on the top, a bathroom and all the little things you could need for a day on the water! From snorkels, to tubes and noodles they had everything ! I will book again and highly recommend booking this yourself.
This was the best way to see all 5 towns from off shore. The hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch consisted of fresh local seafood cooked to perfection. Ample opportunity to swim off the boat and enjoy the wonderful Ligurian Sea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This boat tour was the highlight of our trip thus far! Do not miss the opportunity to see the five villages from the Ligurian Sea. Views were beyond spectacular! What made the trip super special, though, was the great teamwork of our Aquamarina guides, Ilara and Lari! They were two of the friendliest, most informative and special folks we’ve worked with. Ilara provided great stories of each village and some geological information. Lari, the boat captain and son of a chef, is also a great cook. Our lunch of mussels, prawns, and swordfish was cooked boatside in front of our eyes and was the best meal we’ve devoured in Italy, thus far! Magnifico!!! Bravo!!
Highlight of our trip. Incredible day on the water with a lunch cooked fresh on the boat! Cannot say enough great things about the captain and his crewmate. They were friendly, knowledgeable, fun and took care of everything from drinks to food. One of the greatest vacation memories we will ever have! Thank you!!!!!
Perfect day and great way to see 5Terre. Definitely take this trip starting in La Spezia as you will see so much more than just the 5Terre villages on the southern part of the trip. The boat is very comfortable, the crew extraordinarily attentive, and the lunch magnificent. We spent five full days in 5Terre including two solid days of hiking. This was our best day. We (my husband and I) were quite fortunate to be the only guests so it was a private cruise for us. However, the boat is roomy both below and on the top deck.
Highly recommend this tour. It was a much better value than a Food & Wine Walking Tour in Monterosso.

I am glad you had enjoy the tour even if not along 5terre coast. As we try to do when the sea condition ar not good to sail, we propose this tour which is as great as 5terre but allow the tourist to discover another jewel of our land. Thank you again and wait to see you on board again.
Scenery and lunch were outstanding. Captain and first mate Eli and Loris were amazing people! They were very knowledgeable and explained alot about the area, towns and history.
Good hospitality and responsible skipper/captain and assistant. Took good care of us with good food and drinks, take us to all the essential photo spots and stops, and lots of water activities too… they are very friendly and helpful and make our tour very special.
WOW. Amazing your. Beautiful sights of Cinque Terre towns. We had the boat to ourself and the crew was incredibly kind. I had a migraine and they turned the music down for me immediately. The fresh seafood lunch they prepared was incredible and a highlight of our whole trip. Really amazing time!!!
We had an amazing day on the boat. Staff was great. Food was amazing! I’m not a seafood person and I still had plenty to eat! Great drinks, incredible views and very accommodating crew. Highly recommended this tour!!
We had an amazing time on the boat with Captain Lawrence and first mate Eugenio. They were knowledgeable about each of the towns, sharing, fun historical and cultural information with us. They cooked us a fabulous delicious lunch, a fresh fish, right on the boat! We had plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling and cliff, jumping during this four hour leisurely trip. Would recommend without reservation. They were terrific!
We somehow got lucky and ended up on a lunch boat tour with just myself, my husband and our hosts. They were both very friendly, informative and we couldn’t have been looked after any better. The views from the boat were incredible as was the food and drinks we were served. Our hosts shared lots of interesting information about the scenery as we passed by. We also got to stop in beautiful spots for swimming, snorkeling and even some cliff jumping which added lots of fun to the experience. A day we’ll remember forever.
Overall this was a nice experience, and my family was happy. The Cinque Terre area is lovely.
The ocean is gorgeous and clear, and it's amazing to see the beautiful towns from the water. The crew keeps the drinks going, and are engaging. That said, there are a few things to consider if you want to book this trip:
1. The sea can get really choppy there, as was the case the day of our trip. 2 people in our group took several dramamine and still ended up sick for the last half; it was absolutely miserable. The crew will not check on you or help you if you're sick, so keep that in mind if you are going on your own.
2. If you have dietary restrictions or don't like seafood, you are limited on lunch. There is focaccia available but no other items for people with, for example, shellfish allergies.
3. The swimming is in deep water; it's not from a shallow cove/beach. Be aware that if the swimming portion of the cruise is a big draw but you are not a strong/confident swimmer, this may not be the trip for you.

Thanks to your review I take the chance to make some aspects of our tour a bit more clear.
Also during the reservation time we specify (and we will do even more accurately now) that we operate in an open sea area, therefore we always strongly suggest to prevent seasickness because unfortunately, once that the seasickness hits on someone, there is really not much the crew can do more than suggest to go swimming or (when is possible) going back on land in spots where is possible to disembark.
I am really sorry if you had the feeling the crew didn’t check enough on those who got sick but it is necessary to find a good balance between helping when it’s possible and not bother much the person that got sick. I have been spoken with all the crew members and according to them any other action different of what they did would have not been helpful and probably annoying for the sick people. The most convenient thing to do was to bring them ashore and that is what the crew did.
In the 5 terre area the coast overhang the sea. This is the beauty of 5 terre, the main characteristic, the “lack” of this territory, one of the reason of cristal clear water also really near to shore, variety of fish etc.. Even starting from the beach, water reaches depth already after few meters, therefore is impossible to anchor and swim in shallow water. Nothing we can do about it, nothing we would do about it. However Aquamarina boat is equipped with noodles and floating objects whose function is precisely to help people who do not feel comfortable enough swimming alone. Beside the Coast Guard examination necessary to work on board of fishing boat (that include rowing and swimming test - not necessary for other boats with no license), the crew is also selected with lifeguard certificate.
About the menù on board, I believe there is a mistake here. Being a boat (not a restaurant), as standard we propose a fixed menu based on fish (we are a fishing boat, this is a must) but we definitely can satisfy pretty much any king of request if previously communicated as we already did several times with vegetarians, vegans and so on. The important thing is to inform us before departure about allergies, intolerances and not-standard request so that we can arrange for alternatives, not having the chance to store on board all kinds of food.
We believe this messages will be of great help to better understand the area, to better understand our tours and a great opportunity to us to improve our services

This was one of the highlights of our vacation. Cinque Terre from the sea was truly beautiful. The food seemed endless and was all cooked fresh on the boat. Drinks were great too. The staff were fabulous and made this experience extra special. I highly recommend this experience!

Our first time to Cinque Terre. We underestimated how long it would take to get to Monterossa. Aquamarina Boat tours were kind and understanding. They waited for us. Staff were informative on the area. The food was really good. I would recommend this tour to others.
