Great drive around the area to see and learn about local life, history and food. My partner is caribbean so learning about life in Jamaica vs her native St Lucia was very interesting and enjoyable. Our driver was so nice and friendly!

Leon is an exceptional tour guide! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with my family. I’m a young woman that came with my fiancé, two younger adult brothers and my mom. Leon could easily relate to all of us and everyone really enjoyed themselves on this tour. We were already trying to tour Jamaica for a few days on our own and we could not have seen even 20% of what we saw without Leon as our tour guide. He truly customized our experience to what we wanted and since my family is a big “health nut”, we stopped at Proactive Lifestyle to look around and buy some produce. We also went to go eat jerk chicken and festival (yummy)! He showed us a view of the city from the top and the airplanes landing and we drove through many parts of Montego Bay from Freeport to West village to Ironshore to town square and more. He gave us some recommendations on what else is happening around Jamaica during our stay that we would be interested in. I could keep going on and on, but in totally I just want to say this tour was so worth it and Leon is a grate human being and very knowledgeable of Jamaica and the world as a whole. Wish I could give him 10 stars! ⭐️

BOOK IT!! Don’t hesitate! And by all means, ask for Mr. Leon Campbell! I don’t need to meet the rest, HE IS THEE BEST! Mr Leon was full of friendliness and very knowledgeable of the history of Jamaica! When you hear Jamaicans are relaxed & laid back, BELIEVE IT! He took us everywhere we requested & then some! Mr Leon went above & beyond the call of his job! I was in search of a particular item which was a souvenir Jamaican phone case but didn’t know where to find one. Even though we were unlucky on that day, he made every effort to find it. He went to 2/3 different places in search of one! If you’re looking to book this tour, put in a request for Mr Leon Campbell with Jamaican Tours! He will definitely give you thee best experience!!

I was told the company that I booked my excursion with (Jamaica Experience) was busy so they asked this other tour company (Mighten's Tours and Transfers) to take the job. This was so wrong, I booked Jamaica Experience because I read most of all their reviews and I liked what I read. I should have been given the opportunity to review this other tour company to see if I wanted to still go on the tour or get a refund. I feel I was cheated.
The guy "Nigel" who picked us up was cocky and arrogant. He was not engaging at all, no sense of humor, limited talking. One of the doors was not working so I would need to go out through the opposite door and even that one was malfuntioning. The seats were not in good condition. Nigel asked what we wanted to see so I made some suggestions and he said no to everything saying it was far out or he tried to discourage the places that were more near so I then told him to choose. He drove us through some neighborhoods and the market area which was nice as we got to see the locals. However, He took us to Harmony public beach park, had he told us ahead of time he was planning on parking and walking this place I would have said no as I thought this was a waste of time. Nothing fun or exciting, he could have just pointed this place out to us while he drove past it. However, he took us here to let us know his personal story as he was part of the project when they were building this park so it was all about him. Then we went to a museum. Then he took us to a gift shop, we did a lot of shopping then next door was margaritaville so I got a drink and picked up a quick souvenir there as well. By this time I was hungry so I asked the tour person to take us to a nice seafood place he recommended. After the tour guy had told us where he was going to take us, he mentioned he was just booked last minute for another tour and did not have time to take us to eat, so he apologized and took us back to our resort. This was very disappointing as I was looking forward to eating at a local restaurant.
I do not recommend either company!! Not worth the money.

I feel like we spent $775 to drive around. We never stopped at the civic theater. We stopped at a fruit market and the fruit was good and fresh and the lady was nice. But then our 2nd stop was to a gift shop and the staff basically followed us around and had really bad attitudes. We were told whatever we purchased would be 50% off but we ended up spending $228 USD for 3 shirts and a shot glass. We realized we were being scammed and was ready to back to our villa at that point. Ryan was our driver. Despite the negative experience he was very nice. The experience wasn’t worth the price.

My online order for this trip was accepted by the company. Then after I got there I got a call that said if I wanted to still go the same day I booked it would be $40 additional per person. I asked them to cancel it and he said that was my job to do so I have tried. We will see!

We understood when booking this tour that it would be a private and customized tour, but the details sections gave a limited itinerary of places that you might visit. Honestly, we rode around to a few of the local neighborhoods and most of our photos were taken from the bus. It was not worth the money charged for this tour. Our tour guide was nice, but we really wanted to see some of the main “attractions” of Montego Bay and/or at least photo ops.

We had a great time with Ryan! He took us where we wanted to go and knew who to talk to so we didn’t have to wait for anything. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and showed us some delicious fresh fruits from the island. Next time I’m in Montego Bay we will be using this tour again! The van was clean and cool, even in the July humidity.

We enjoyed our time! Our guide, Delano, did a good job of showing us around & telling us about the area. Just make sure you have all initial contact info in plenty of time. It has hard to connect with lack of reliable internet on the cruise ship.

This was our first time coming to Jamaica and we didn’t want a cookie cutter tour. We got our wish! Ryan customized our experience with historic Montego Bay as well the heart of the parish. Experienced in not only the country but each parish vibe and flow he is knowledgeable and fun. Everyone knows him so it made for joyful conversation. Thanks Ryan and Leon for a great tour. Leon and Gary were very professional. There were 12 of us, the tour bus was very clean, nearly new? They arrived early, and didn’t rush us during the day. Left the hotel on time at 11:30 and returned at 4. Leon started off the day by asking if there was anything in particular we wanted to see, or if we had a specific return time. We made two stops, one near the airport for the view, shop and a beer, essentially a typical market stop. The other stop was at Scotchies for jerk. It was very good. Rustic setting, clean and friendly. The tour consisted of visiting a number of neighborhoods in MoBay and downtown. Gary pointed out points of interest, as well as local plants and fruit and nut trees. We all enjoyed the day, learned some things about Montego Bay and enjoyed the company of Leon and Gary.
