When in Jamaica, it’s mandatory to learn about one of its most popular products: rum. This hassle-free group tour takes you to one of the island’s best producers, The Joy Spence Appleton Estate, where you will be immersed in all things rum.

Your tour starts with convenient hotel pickup to kick the experience off smoothly. Your English speaking driver will tell you about the history of the area and rum as you make your way to the estate.

When you arrive, you’ll have a tour of the distillery, followed by a tasting with around ten different rums. Lunch is also provided, as well as the chance to purchase a bottle of your favorite rum.

Private tour private driver both excellent and excellent experience. Driver gave history of country as going along pointing out places of interest free flowing conversation between driver and us and us and driver. Stopped for lunch on way back that driver recommended sat out with locals to eat lunch Tour guide at Appleton new his job we have been round numerous distillery s in Scotland so a lot of the process is the same but good to see the differences and to hit the guide with good if not ackwould questions which he answered. Tasting was very good nice to taste the differences in the ageing of the rum
