Sailing on the French Reviera

We went to the sea in the afternoon and Bob made it a comfortable experience for us. Remember that when it is windy in the Riviera the sea will be rough. We faced that for the last part of our trip. But the experience was nice and Bob is very knowledgeable and will make stops which will be worth it.

Sailing with Bob was an exceptional experience. From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome and ensured everything was taken care of with professionalism and ease. His knowledge of the South of France coastline, combined with his friendly and accommodating nature, made the trip both relaxing and memorable. The boat was comfortable, the route was breathtaking, and Bob’s attention to detail elevated the entire experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the French Riviera from the water in the best way possible.

Do Not Book this Experience!

Do not book this experience, a complete rip-off. Driver provided less than a 90- minute boat ride as we had to turn around and return due to dangerous conditions. Driver refused to offer any refund at all, thus we paid over $1,000 for a ride that was a disaster, we did not do any of the activities listed and felt unsafe. Not recommended!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify the experience you had during our boat tour. First and foremost, your safety is always my top priority. The 28-foot boat, powered by 2 x 250-horsepower engine, is built to handle the open sea with ease. While I understand this may have been your first time on the ocean, I want to reassure you that there were never any dangerous conditions during our time on the water. Throughout the tour, I did my very best to accommodate your changing preferences — from your initial request to visit Millionaire’s Beach in Antibes, then the caves in Mala, back again, and so on. I understand plans can change, and I was happy to adapt the route multiple times to suit your wishes. We also toured the calm waters of Villefranche-sur-Mer, where many boats were anchored. I offered the opportunity to stop, relax, enjoy a swim or a drink, but you chose not to. After returning early, I even extended an offer to take you on another trip to the caves from Cap d’Ail or Monaco on a different day, which would involve less time in open water. As for the refund, I respectfully declined it because there was no cause to end the tour from a safety standpoint, based on my nine years of experience navigating these waters. I'm truly sorry to hear that the experience didn't meet your expectations, and I sincerely hope this explanation gives future guests a fuller understanding of what actually occurred.
