Guide, Zaine, was terrific. Took me to amazing Lombok Wildlife Park which was 2 hours from port. Had great interaction with orangutan. Then had nice lunch on beach and stopped at lovely village on way back. He spoke English beautifully and was accommodating and friendly.

Driver/Guide had limited English language skills and the AC in his car stopped functioning about 2 hours in.

The price was not inclusive we were forced to tip extra guides and for entry to a temple. We went to a weaving centre and the guide there said we had to tip him. Each person that we had contact with said we had to tip. We paid just under $200.00 CDN for the tour and of course we also tipped the tour operator at the end. I would try to just get a last minute tour at the cruise dock. Other people went to more places and paid $35.00USD. We didn’t see a beach by the way.

Quite a lot of driving but very interesting and good views. Elli had good English and was a charming guide. Worthwhile.

Our driver, Alan, gave us a great tour. He had good English and we learnt a lot about life on Lombok. Loved the visit to the weaving village, the pottery village not so much. Had an interesting guided walk theough the local market.

Our guide, Dayat, was exceptional, spoke good English and was great fun.
The most important aspect was his flexibility in that he took us to the best places for us, allowing us to decide how long to spend at each venue whereas our cruise ship excursions were so rigid; it was nice to be on our own in a comfortable car with such a knowledgeable guide. Thank you Dayat, I hope you are enjoying Blues Saraceno!
