Our guide/driver, EKA, was great. He arrived early and together we figured out what were the best places to visit, (a community village, some beaches and viewpoints). EKA drove safely while sharing many descriptions of the culture and the people in Lombok.

Loved this tour! It was a custom tour where I specified where I wanted to go and how long I wanted to stay. It delivered exactly what I wanted! My guide was converned that we were notdoing everything on my original list, but that was the beauty of this custom tour - I could modify it along the way!

We booked a private tour, however, due to the driver’s limited English we were not provided with any advice or information about the places we were seeing. We enjoyed seeing the traditional villages and trying on traditional outfits!

We had a lovely and easy experience with our driver Accook. He was easy going, answered our “touristy” questions and took us to the places we wanted to visit. He took us to rice fields, nice temple, a local village in a nice air conditioned car.

Requesting a 50% refund due to the fact driver/ guide could not speak English; write up states 150,000 Rupiah would be needed per person, we were forced to pay a total of 583,333 Rupiah. If the driver/guide spoke English he could have explained where we were and why we were being forced to pay additional fees. We asked driver/guide five (5) times to return us back to the ship. Requesting Viator help on this matter.

Please kindly note that entrance fees are not included in this tour. The cost of entrance fees varies depending on each site and must be paid on site, with an approximate cost of IDR 150,000 per person. Some sites are managed by local communities, and our driver is unable to intervene in the fees.
We are truly sorry that our driver could not communicate effectively in English. We understand this caused confusion regarding the additional charges and your requests to return to the ship. Your feedback is very important, and we will use it to improve our service and communication for future guests.

We had some ideas of what we wanted to do, spoke to our driver, yadi, who knew exactly what to do first, and in what order and even advised that we should ignore one of the items as it was almost the same as something else we had planned. This to me shows great care and a very good understanding of what the customer requires and expects.
A very safe driver and good communication skills.
Very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, he knew exactly how to show us a good day.

This is an excellent way to see Lombok. Our driver/guide, Gede, was very knowledgeable about Lombok and took us to some fantastic places.
He was very considerate of my walking limitations and made sure I enjoyed every stop.

We had complete flexibility planning the day’s itinerary, and Ashir provided the kind of input available only from someone who’s spent his life on Lombok. We visited a beautiful, uncrowded beach and a women’s crafts cooperative off the beaten path. Ashir is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.

We had the best day in Lompok, loved it more than Bali. I would highly recommend hiring a private driver to take you around to see the sites. It’s also very reasonable, he was on time and got us back to the ship on time. He listened to what our interests were and made sure that we saw the things we were fascinated by.

Yesterday, I chose to explore the North of Lombok - Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, Bukit Selong and Pusuk sembalun. It was a perfect trip! My guide Aby was very nice, helpful and accompanied me around all the places. He was driving safely and everything was on time. I highly recommend this trip and Aby as guide. :)

Our driver/guide Aby couldn’t have been better. He was super accommodating to an injury we were carrying and made sure we still had the best day. It wasn’t like travelling with a guide, it was like having a friend with us. We visited pink beach and surrounding islands, stopped for a fresh lobster lunch and a bintang. We had the best day and want to thank Aby for making it so special.

Poor experience. Driver slept in and did not answer phone during timing of pickup from port. When we finally got in contact with his company they first stated to be patient with traffic (whereas there was none), but did not acknowledge that the lack of communication was really the problem. They then secondly attempted to lie that no one knew about the booking, whereas I had been communicating with the driver the day before. Traffic is understandable, though there was none on the island, but not being available for communication when no one showed up and responding to the issue with “you should cancel then” is inappropriate. I’m sure they will respond to this message with some form of an apology, but I would advise to future guest of the island to steer clear of them and go with another business that is more considerate in real time.

We’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations, but we must clarify the facts. We did not lie — there was indeed an error due to a miscommunication about the new booking, which we only became aware of after receiving a surprise call from your girlfriend at the port. Once confirmed, we quickly arranged a driver who arrived within 30 minutes.
While we acknowledge the delay was our fault, your constant calls during this short period — while we were already coordinating with your girlfriend and the driver — were unhelpful and disruptive. Accusing us of dishonesty when we admitted the mistake and acted fast to resolve it is unfair.
We respect all guests, but we also expect fairness in return. A single delay — which was acknowledged and promptly handled — should not be used to undermine our integrity or the service we’ve consistently provided to countless satisfied travelers.

Knowledgeable guide. The waterfalls and the nature through lombok are amazing. Hasyim was my guide for the trip and I had alot of fun with him. Very nice and kind person. Visited some ricefields aswell and went through local villages. I also got to try their traditional dressings for ceremonies, Hasyim helping me to get dressed up properly to look like a local :)

We enjoyed having a private driver who drove us to the places that we wanted to see. This also allowed us to stay a little longer at some of the great stops. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lombok.

Our driver was nice. He took us to a place that does weaving which was lovely, to a village to see how those people live and to a Hindu temple.
We were disappointed in that he did not explain things as we drove along, did not tell us what. bigger buildings were.

We needed a ride to the Wildlife Park and the driver was ready waiting for us at the cruise terminal. I don’t know the spelling of his name but he was very knowledgeable and interesting about life and the history of the people of Lombok. The ride was comfortable but the traffic due to Ramadan was extremely busy and difficult to travel. Our driver did an amazing job to get us back to the ship on time and was very friendly and courteous - thanks

We spent a wonderful day in Lombok thanks to our driver August. He took us to Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu where we hiked to the two beautiful waterfalls. Along the way he stopped to buy local fruit for us to taste. We then went to a great beachfront restaurant called Laut Bira Bar & Restaurant and enjoyed pizza and a local dish. We then returned to our ship as we were very tired from the hike. August was a wonderful driver and very informative.

Asier was a fantastic driver with excellent English. He went above and beyond to make a great day touring Lombok. He made suggestions for sights to see in the area, respected my requests, and shared insights on Lombok people and the Muslim religion, as I was curious. He stopped at 2 banks and helped translate my debit card issues. Finally, at end of tour he made an additional stop to show me a Hindu temple, and bought unique Asian fruit with his own funds because he wanted to make sure I was able to try it out before leaving the country. We were visiting Lombok for the day (cruise ship stop). Ashe being a brilliant tour guide and driver, with fantastic spoken English, made it the best stop of our entire cruise. He went above and beyond, making our day the most memorable of our trip. He is very kind and thoughtful. We had 13 example day trip options to chose from (WhatsApped over in advance) or we had the choice of tailoring our own. Ashe bought some local fruit for us to all try in a super location. It sounds simple but is one of our fondest memories of beautiful Lombok. I would thoroughly recommend booking Ashe, he is a truly lovely man.

Hadi was a wonderful guide. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. He had a great senses of humor. He even took us to a wonderful store that sold the beautiful Lombok pearls. Truly a gem!

The driver didn’t have a suggestion on what to do and wanted us to pick from pictures on what activities to do. When we asked for a nice place for lunch he couldn’t provide one.
