Dananjaya our driver was great, taking us to a couple of villages where we talked to the locals and witnessed their weaving and rice production. We also visited the Unesco World Heritage listed waterfalls, well worth the short trek through the forest. An enjoyable and informative day.

What a fantastic day!!! Our driver - Taufik was very friendly, a skilled driver and very accomodating with the places we wanted to see. The local guide that we picked up for some of the locations - Rizal, was amazing. From inviting us into his home to meet his family, to taking us on an adventure walking on the different tiers of rice paddy fields out his 'back yard', to leading us on an incredible jungle hike to waterfalls where we got to swim under the falling water. One of the waterfalls was almost 'other worldly' it was so incredibly beautiful. We could have sat there all day just amazed by the beauty. Rizal was fun, full of stories and very easy to talk with plus he took some brilliant photos for us as well. We finished the day watching the sunset on a gorgeous and pretty much deserted beach. I think we pretty much used every minute of our allocated time and by the end of the day we were tired but it was the best day of our entire trip! Thanks Taufik and Rizal.

We were provided with a guide that spoke no English at all. He tried very hard but it wasn’t his fault - Viator didn’t provide what was promised.

We had a pleasant trip because we could decide where and when to travel. Since we only had about 8 hours for the shore excursion, customised trips are very useful and safe.

Our driver was very good and professional, he was very customer friendly, took us to places that gave us a great experience in Lombok. The waterfall, the bike ride through the jungle to the waterfall, the weaving village, and the beach at the Sheraton to see sunset, a great day for us!!

A great experience from the initial booking to being dropped off at the Gili Mas cruise terminal by Rifai, our driver/guide at the end of the day.
Communication during the booking process from Dananjaya was outstanding. WhatsApp messages were answered quickly and changes made without any problem. We were first time visitors to Lembok and Dananjaya was able to give us a very diverse range of options for our tour.
Our driver, Rifai was brilliant. Excellent English speaking which really helped in getting the most out of the trip. We went to the Gili Islands and did some snorkelling and sightseeing (boat transfer also arranged by Dananjaya) and Rifai came with us and ensured we got the best out of the day.
Overall, outstanding service from start to finish 👏👏

We had a wonderful day with Lalu. He was informative, kind, easy to talk to, and gave great suggestions. We bought some local fruit on the way, saw the beautiful countryside with the rice fields and hiked to the four central waterfalls (Benang Stokel & Benang Kelambu), it was pouring rain but it just made the hike and waterfalls even more incredible. We went to the Sukarara Village and met the local sarong weavers. The women are so talented, friendly and hilarious and we bought many traditional authentic sarongs. We went to lunch at a local Indonesian restaurant and ate delicious food that Lalu helped us order. And we went to the Islamic Center Mosque on the way back to our hotel, which was majestic and our guide was informative and welcoming. Can not recommend Lalu enough as a driver, guide and new Lombok friend.

We spent our one day in Lombok with Asier as our outstanding guide. It was one of the more memorable days of our entire 40 days of travel in Australasia. We came away having had great exposure to the daily lives of regular citizens, merchants, farmers, and worshipers, almost entirely without any other tourists in sight. Watching and/or participating in weaving, rice thatching, and daily worship were all special moments. Asier’s English, kindness, patience, knowledge of the island and it cultures, and choice of itinerary were all exceptional. A particularly memorable experience was Asier buying fruits for us at a local market, after which we headed to his home to enjoy the food and meet his wonderful family. Get to experience the real Lombok with Asier!

We loved our day out with our guide Augus. He helped us decide where we should go and what to see. We ended up seeing two temples, two waterfalls, topped off by an oasis of a white sand beach.
Highly recommend this tour for a fun, flexible day out.

Had a great day with Asier as our guide! He was very flexible and able to devise an itinerary that was doable and met our needs with the limited time we had on shore. Visited all the places we had in mind and added on a few more such visiting the largest mosque on Lombok. We went to a very small weaving village without the crowds of other tourists which was just what we wanted. It was extra special as we walked out on a rice field to enjoy local fruit he had bought at a roadside fruit stand. Wish we had more time to enjoy the culture of Lombok with Asier as our guide.

This tour allows you to customize your day in Lombok. Highlights for us included the Weaving Village, and the wonderful waterfalls of Lombok’s UNESCO ranked national park. Our guide, Omi, knew the area well, and was able to adapt to challenges such as a torrential rainstorm midway through our trip. He was a wonderful ambassador for his region, and enriched our experience with knowledge and stories share. We recommend this experience highly.

Excellent guide who took care of everything we needed as a visiting family. We happily followed his suggested itinerary. Visited a hindu temple, possibly wouldn't recommend this as you pay to get in, pay the temple guide, driver pays for parking, but most of the temple was closed off to is, pretty though. Then visited waterfalls, amazing!!!. Paid for motorbikes to take us to the Falls which was also an amazing experience. Managed to see monkeys playing in the trees. Rice fields and enjoyed local fruit. Final stop was cultural weaving village. Guide was happy to keep going but we were exhausted. Had us safely back at cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. Comfortable. Clean, and cool car. We didn't take Indonesian money but our guide covered us if we wanted anything and we paid him back in aud upon return. His English was excellent and we would happily recommend him to others. We felt we got to see the real lombok, and understand how they live as a people.

The lombok vacations that was the tour operator did not coordinate the timing well to the driver. Our pte tour for 10 hours starts from 8.30 am as comfirmed in wats app message to me but the driver came late, 9 am, which was the time given to him in his handphone wats app message. I called the contact number but no reply. As I aspected it was a business number and they did not take calls till later. I had prior to the holiday requested for the driver's name and contact but was not given.My other tours with viator more than often would provide driver's name and contact and the driver would contact me ahead of the tour.
For this tour,the driver/guide ,Agus was good as he tailored the tour to suit us. He brought us for a very good lunch at hill top.

Sami was our driver and from the minute I got off the ship and saw him holding up a sign with my name on it, I knew we were in for a great day. Sami has a great smile and a wonderful attitude. We didn’t have much time in port as but he took us to some temples and a mosque along with beautiful stop to watch the sunset. I felt as though we saw a lot considering the short time we had. He gave us history and facts about the Lombok area and answered all our questions. This was a great tour and I would definitely recommend for anyone coming to Lombok on a cruise ship.

We worked with provider in advance to plan itinerary, and we were able to do everything we wanted and had a little extra time to visit 2 beaches. Driver was excellent and provided useful information. Could not have asked for a better tour.

Driver picked us up at the cruise port and we asked him to stop at a fruit stand, then on we went to visit walking a rice terrace paddies. Then on to the Benang Kelambu Water fall where they provided ridding on the back of a motorcycle uphill to a waterfall (worth the trip, 7-minute of thrill) then downhill. Then the bike rider took us to another waterfall where some people stepped out and took shower under the waterfall. Be sure to pay a few dollars to use the motorcycle ride (versus 40-minute walking one way).
