想像以上に素晴らしいサファリでした

ザンビアのホテルにお迎えが来て、ボツワナのボーダーまで行き出国手続き。フェリーでボツワナへ渡り、入国手続き後チョベのボート乗り場まで車。午前中はボートサファリ約3時間、ロッジでランチ後、陸のサファリ約3時間。終了後は行きとは逆ルートでホテルまで（18時半着）というスケジュールです。ボートサファリでは川の中にカバ、川辺に珍しい鳥やワニやインパラの群れ。遠くに見えるゾウとバファローの群れ。数えきれないゾウの大群が泥浴びしている様子を目の前で見て、大興奮！ランチはロッジでビュッフェ式、肉もサラダもデザートもフリーのレモネードもあり。そこからサファリ用の高さがあって窓のない車に乗って、サファリへ。公園に入る途中にゾウの群れが道路を横断。公園に入ってからはボートサファリした川沿いを内陸部へ。インパラの群れと猿の群れと鳥の群れ。ゾウの群れを追いかけて。このあたりから雨が降り出してしまったのですが、大きなポンチョをあてがわれ続行。雨が降ったことで動物たちがいない状況が続きあきらめかけた矢先、ライオンを発見！帰りがけにダメ押しのゾウの大群と遭遇、大接近。 BIG５全部はいないけど、日帰りでこんなに充実のサファリがあるのかしら？家族4人大興奮の一日でした。ツアー会社によっては10歳以上の年齢制限があるようです。ボツワナ（とジンバブエ）では子供の出生証明を求められましたので、事前にご準備ください。
