Very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining, John is clearly a pro at small group Beatles tours. We loved the more intimate environment of a small group - no big motorcoach could see and experience what we did. Small coach (15 passenger) was clean and new, making the tour all the more enjoyable.
I enjoyed the entire day. I learned so much about the Beatles. Paul told great stories to make each stop more interesting.
Our guide was Paul and we were in the McCartney group. Great way to start a Beatles tour! Got to see the childhood homes of all but George (too far away). Spent just the right amount of time at each location including Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, Rigby and Mc Kenzie cemetary plots, childhood church of meet-ups, etc. Cavern area also very interesting and well explained. We actually VISITED these areas while we saw many other tours simply drive by for photostops from inside the vehicle. Paul was very informative and shared many unknown details while allowing us to listen to some of the hits associated with the details being shared. Excellent tour!! Well worth the money. Thank you!!!
Nice tour to get Beatles highlights and see the city. It was a bit rushed at times and it actually ran over a bit.
An excellent tour of all things Beatles with considerable privileged access to key locations. Our guide, Paul, had a deep knowledge of the Fab Four and the history of rock music in both the UK and US.

It is a fantastic tour and being for small groups enables you to get to side streets etc that the big coaches aren’t able to. Our guide Phil, was an absolute gem, with so much knowledge and a great sense of humour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Liverpool

Phil, the tour guide, was engaging and knowledgeable, making the tour memorable. This is a small-group tour with a combination of walking and a luxury van experience. He shared so many stories about how the Beatles were meant to be together. Did you know each member's childhood homes are close to each other? We learned so much about the Beatles after spending hours with Phil. Each stop was given enough time to take pictures and for Phil to share the behind-the-scenes stories. We were intrigued by Phil's stories. Highly recommend this tour for Beatles fans and those new to learning about the Beatles. Hopefully, you may be lucky to have Phil as your tour guide!

One great tour! Our guide Tracey was phenomenal! A walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the Beatles! She was charismatic, personable, patient and even sang us Beatle songs! One fantastic tour guide! We hit all of the important stops and then some! This tour does not disappoint!

My wife and I have taken several Viator trips and with the exception of the one we took in Helsinki, they have all been excellent. This tour however went well beyond excellent. The tour with Simon was absolutely OUTSTANDING. His subject matter knowledge, prepared slides and photos combined with this excitement, enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humor is beyond compare. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone and, if you are fortunate enough to get SIMON as your guide you are in for a "Day to Rember". This was an excellent tour done with purple tours!
I think we had the best one because of our guide, Simon. I can’t say enough about the tour. Simon provided music and pictures at the stops and had a wonderful knowledge of all Beatles trivia. My husband thought he could stump him but alas Simon shown through! Would recommend highly!

My wife Shirley and I had an amazing time on our trip Tracy did such an amazing time her Knowledge and Skills made the Excursion even better I would recommend this to anybody that likes the Beatles and specifically ask for Tracy she took time to answer every question you had and gave you more knowledge than you were expecting we just appreciate that we almost felt like we were the only ones there yet they were at least 12 people again such a great Excursion

This was a great tour. It's perfect for someone that can't walk long distances all at once. Our group only had 10 people and the small coach was very pleasant - space & air conditioning. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we even got to see the inside of the church where John & George actually met. I would really recommend this tour for anyone even the biggest Beatles fan!

This was the perfect tour for us. Only six people plus our guide, and our driver. We had a spotlessly, clean, air-conditioned van, and plenty of bottled water. The tour lasted four hours, but every minute was entertaining and educational.

I booked this tour for a group of eight, and although I am not a Beatles fan, I found this to be the best excursion of our 12-day cruise. This was primarily because of our guide Paul! His passion for the Beatles and the stories, so many are unaware of, gave me a whole new appreciation for the group. Paul was very accommodating and kept everyone interested. We were on a very comfortable bus, and Bob, our driver, kept us safe in some crazy, tight traffic and streets. If you book this tour, you need to ask for Paul! There can't be anyone who can provide this tour with the passion he delivers. Thanks, Paul!

We have taken other Beatles tours when in Liverpool but this was the best by far. Paul was a wonderful guide, very engaging and the back stories he told us were incredibly interesting and fun. At the various points of interest, we didn’t just stop, but were able to leave the bus and had plenty of time for photos and fun facts!
