Once you’re collected from your hotel in Harrogate, you’ll head straight to the first filming location from the *All Creatures Great and Small* series. After enjoying the small village of Barden, you’ll admire the stunning limestone scenery surrounding Malham.
Next up it’s the quaint hamlet of Hawkswick, ringed by lush green fields, before stopping for a snack in the quaint Yorkshire Dales village of Burnsall. The main lunchtime stop is in Grassington, the filming location used for Darrowby in the new *All Creatures Great & Small* TV series.
After lunch, you can choose to visit Thirsk to experience the World of James Herriot or opt for an afternoon enjoying more of the stunning Yorkshire Dales scenery. The tour ends with hotel drop-off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience today on the All Creatures Great and Small Tour. We found Chris to be a knowledgeable guide and an excellent driver! We never felt rushed and the stops along the way were perfectly timed. It was a lovely day and we would highly recommend this tour for those who wish to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.

The overall knowledge of our driver, Howard. for all things All Creatures Great and Small and also the overall Yorkshire Dales was astonishing. As the witching hour of 5.00 p.m. was approaching he was eager to continue showing us places of interest and continued to do so until after 6:00 p.m. Highly recommended.
