I was supposed to be on a small tour but there were not enough people so was offered this one. Turned out to be a great tour. Laila, the guide was excellent and took good care of us. The bus driver was also wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

There are 2 places to buy food/drink. You can purchase skywalk tickets through the gas station you stop at so no need to purchase through the your group. And you don’t need to pay extra for “ guided walking tour” as you can explore all on your own & other people are more than happy to snap a pic of you & whoever you are with. I did not check if there’s a price difference on the skywalk tickets, however. The reason for 3 stars is that we did NOT get the small group tour as we wanted. I was called, texted & emailed the day before the scheduled tour (on my birthday that I was trying to enjoy) & told they didn’t reach the minimum number of guests required to run the small group. At that point, you have no choice other than to cancel & not see the Grand Canyon or go on a large group bus tour. Nothing offered for the inconvenience or disappointment not getting what was wanted other than the refund of the cost difference which would have to be done, obviously. But that’s what was said, for the unexpected inconvenience I was refunded the difference in tour prices. Wow, so generous. When I asked for complimentary “guided walk” $25 more dollars each as a way to say sorry for the last minute change, the answer was No. I would recommend going to the West Rim & going on the skywalk but book through a different tour company.

Please note that we offer a walking tour inside the canyon as an optional activity that allows you to benefit from the expertise of our guides throughout your entire visit OR you can choose to discover the canyon on your own, where you can take the free shuttle and be in charge how you spend your time in the canyon. Please note that purchasing skywalk tickets through our tour guides is for your convenience. When you arrive at the park, your tickets will be ready, and you won't have to wait in line.
We regret to inform you that we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Small Group tour due to not reaching the minimum number of passengers required. This situation is beyond our control. Instead of a complete cancellation, we offered the option to switch to a motor coach tour. We wanted to ensure that our passengers did not miss the opportunity to explore the Grand Canyon, so we did our best to accommodate everyone.
We sincerely apologize that you didn’t receive a complimentary guided walking tour. Normally, we do provide this service to our passengers for any inconvenience caused.
We hope this clears up any misunderstanding you may have regarding our tour. We appreciate your kind understanding.

Skywalk, Grand Canyon, and Hoover breathtaking. Packed like sardines in non-luxury van with guide that was nice enough and good about pic opportunities, but knew a bit about too few things and talked about himself way too much. Lunch was a barely palatable sandwich.

A dream came true. Visiting the Grand Canyon was a terrific experience. I felt so small in front of this natural masterpiece. Thanks again to Grand Vegas Tours for the flawless organization and the great couple of Italian guides Laia and Lodovico. They perfectly passed on to me their love for this wonder of the world. They offered to take photos of me from different angles and places across the Grand Canyon. I will never forget this wonderful day !

I was disappointed that the day before my excursion I received notice that you change the event i booked a small van and ended up on a bus. Also had to pay both ways for a cab when originally I was going to be picked up at my hotel.

I chose and paid for a small group tour. However, the day before it was changed for a large group of 75 (!) passengers on a two deck oldish bus… my seat was the closest one to the bathroom, which was of questionable size and lacking supply of toilet paper ( you needed to ask the driver for a new roll)… The initially-reserved tour should have started at 7:20 am, the 75-guest tour started at 5:40am ( the time when you should be at the gathering place), which is a sizeable difference. The tour itself was good, but could have been planned a bit more reasonably. The tour guide, Brendon, was very nice, quite knowledgeable, entertaining and caring about passengers.

From the moment you book you stop being the customer and become a product for them to sell. They will make 4 additional stops(gift shop/truck stop(incredibly high prices), restaurant/hotel(everyone just wanted to get back to their hotel, had to stop and sit there)) that have nothing to do with the Grand Canyon that they are paid to make. They are literally selling your time.
They will upsell you a lunch for $12+fees that will be 2 pieces of basic bread, one slice of thin turkey, slice of cheese, off brand chips, condiments.
The driver will be selling add-ons and entering credit cards into his phone while doing 75mph.
Kevin, the driver was a good guy, but is put in a bad position by the operator.
See the Grand Canyon it’s amazing, strongly consider a different operator even if the price is significantly higher.

It was a bait and switch. Pay for small group tour. They cancelled the day before and offered a big bus tour. Very disappointed. Rented a car and went by ourselves to Grand Canton West.

We wound up on the large group tour. Brandon and Nelson were awesome. If I hadn't extended our vacation a few weeks earlier I never would have been able to take this tour as the small group tour was canceled the day before.Not really happy with the last minute scheduling of these as I count on going. A little earlier communication would be better to possibly reschedule

Great way to see the west rim of the Grand Canyon. The Skywalk was an fun experience. Our guide Jamie was knowledgable and friendly. Going early in the morning (in early May) we were able to get ahead of the large tour buses that make the lines long.

Trip was cancelled due to not enough bookings for 12 passenger van. Very disappointing as we found out 20 hours before we were to be picked up. We did do a 56 passenger double decker bus tour which was good.

We did not want our passengers to miss out on a great chance to explore the Grand Canyon.

Great trip! Our tour guide Jamie was very organized and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of great info along the way. The weather was a little rainy but skies cleared off and on. Highly recommend using the tour to see the canyon. It was relaxing and easy!

Unfortunately the small tour was cancelled due to lack of numbers, however I was able to go onto the coach tour. The bus picking me up was quite late and took a while to get on the road after several pick ups. However the tour it self was great, the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, overall a great day

I booked a luxury small group tour to Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Viator sent me an email the morning before trip to state that the small group tour was cancelled due to maintenance. They offered me 2 seats in front of a big luxury bus. I accepted since I didn’t want to miss the experience. When we arrived at Grand Canyon West the tour was divided in three groups. One for tour and skywalk, one for tour and helicopter and the other was a walking tour which was us. The walking tour was told to wait till the helicopter tour was situated. This took a half hour. We were outside freezing. It was about 53 degrees with high winds. Then once that was completed we went on a shuttle and got off and were told we had to wait for the people attending the skywalk. That took another half hour. Again, we were freezing standing around waiting. The grand Canyon West is beautiful, I just wish the tour was run more efficiently.

Unfortunately because of a mechanical issue we did not get to go on small group tour we were told the day before the small group vehicle was not available and we had to go on the regular group tour ...that had a very nice guide and bus driver and if you want to go on a group tour it was a good tour but it was not the experience we were looking for.
