The crew are very friendly and helpful. They tried their best to get us to see the water creatures. The views at each stop are stunning. It’s so amazing to see Komodo dragons in their own habitat!

Thanks for a great trip. We loved the different sites and all the stops - it was a good way to get a lot into the day. We saw other groups had slightly bigger boats, this would have been nice. There was some confusion about our pick up - driver was at wrong hotel, then we had to wait a long time at the pier for another group so we felt we woke early for no reason. All the drivers, guides and staff were excellent. Kind, helpful and made it a pleasant experience. Thank you.

The journey was very smooth with friendly crew. Small group makes it even more relax and easy. Good amount of time spent in all spots.

Excellent service by providers, from driver, tour coordinator and tour guides in the boat and boat driver.
Rachel_H, Dec 2025
It was great! The guides were great our boat crewmen were great. The only complaint I would have would be the fish in the prepared lunch was salty. But other than that, it was overall great.
Christopher_L, Dec 2025
It was a wonderful day. Pacing was good. We saw so many places and animals. The lunch was also very good. Staff were remarkable. My husband had a hard time getting in and out of the boat but, the crew helped him.

We booked a big boat. And paid more! We got a small boat without proper seats. The agent refused a partly refund. Which would be appropriate. If you get a activity which was less in value.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re always grateful when guests take the time to leave feedback, because it helps us improve and helps future travelers understand what to expect.
Our tour description on Viator includes a note that boat types can vary based on availability and the operator running the route that day. During quieter months, especially in the rainy season, group sizes are often smaller. When that happens, a smaller boat is assigned so the tour can still operate safely and guests don’t face last-minute cancellations. This is a standard practice in Labuan Bajo and allows everyone to enjoy the full itinerary without disruption.
We’re pleased that all six destinations were completed as planned and that the experience went smoothly. Our team’s priority is always the safety, comfort, and overall enjoyment of every guest, no matter which boat is used on the day.
We understand that expectations can differ, and we’ll keep improving the way we communicate details before booking. For future guests reading this, our tours always follow the promised itinerary, and we work hard to provide a reliable and enjoyable day on the water.
Thank you again, and we wish you many great travels ahead.

I Cancelled because I had double booked due to the first company not contacting me whilst I was in the uk
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry this situation occurred, but the cancellation and the 1-star rating were due to a double booking on your side, not a lack of communication from us.
For clarity, here is the verified timeline:
November 27: Your booking was confirmed via the platform.
November 28: Our team contacted you. You actively responded, providing your pickup location at Hotel Seasta, selecting Chicken Rice as your meal preference, and even noting that you did not require snorkeling gear due to an ear infection. This proves you were engaged and informed.
November 29: Our team sent you a final reminder with the confirmed pickup time for the following morning. We did not receive a response to this message.
November 30 – Tour Day: Our driver arrived at Hotel Seasta at the scheduled time. Only upon our driver's arrival did you inform us of a double booking with another company and requested a last-minute cancellation and refund.
At this stage, all arrangements, staff and logistics were already deployed, and cancellations within 24 hours are not permitted by Viator’s own policy.
We have been operating in Labuan Bajo since 2012 and continue to work with major platforms because our communication and service are reliable. In this case, the issue was a guest’s double booking, not our performance.
We hope this explanation helps future guests understand the context of this review.

The best tour! The best way to manage to do so many acrivities in a day
The local guys in komodo were very kind and helpful too
Our guides were kind and helpful
Alex_N, Nov 2025
The main reason why I took this tour was to see the Komodo dragons, the whole thing was a bad experience the animals looked like they were drugged or sedated or maybe dead, I got to see three of them and they claimed they were asleep, I have been investigating the habitat and life of these reptiles my whole life, any reptile notes the presence of any especies around they wake right up, they were definitely sedated and also arriving at the pick up point we were asked for additional 400 000 IDR which wasn’t advised prior to pick up, there was no educational part to it the guides barely spoke English and people had to use translator to communicate, awful and on top of that the same tour was available in town for way less money, I wasn’t happy I request a refund
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations, and we’d like to address a few points so other travelers have accurate information.
Regarding the Komodo dragons, they are completely wild animals managed and monitored by the Komodo National Park rangers. Their activity level depends on weather, temperature, and natural behavior, and it isn’t something any tour operator can control. Sedation is not part of any practice on the island, and visitors often see dragons resting or inactive during the day, especially in hot hours.
About the additional entrance fees, the charges for the Komodo National Park are clearly listed under the exclusions in our tour description. These fees are set by the Park authority and collected directly upon arrival, which is why they are not included in the tour price.
For the guiding experience, it’s important to note that the island briefing and wildlife explanation are handled by official park rangers, not by the boat crew. Ranger English levels can vary, but they are the only personnel certified to lead guests inside the Park. Our boat guide’s role is to assist with logistics and safety throughout the day.
Regarding pricing, online bookings naturally include platform service fees and guarantees such as secure payment, confirmed availability, and customer support. Prices in town can be lower because they don’t include these platform costs.
We understand that expectations can differ, especially when visiting wildlife areas, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We’ll continue working with our partners to ensure guests receive clear information and a smooth experience.

I'll start off by saying that, after a lot of research, it became very clear that there was no tour that was only to Komodo island - most include Padar island, Pink Beach, and snorkelling. So I booked this trip for my partner and myself after reading other reviews.
One of the main reasons I wanted a trip to see the Komodos without other experiences such as snorkelling, is because I'm VERY nervous when it comes to deep water. However, my anxiety was completely unnecessary! The crew/guides were so supportive and helpful, had plenty of life jackets available, and one of our guides actually got in the water with the life ring and "towed" a couple of us along for additional peace of mind. So, for other tourists who are equally nervous - don't be. I faced my fears and was able to see sea turtles while snorkelling, while my partner (who is very confident in the water) saw manta rays.
The hike on Padar was tough-ish, mainly due to the humidity and steep uneven/unfinished path/stairs in some places. Needless to say, bring sensible shoes for this portion of the tour - we saw so many people struggling in thongs/sandals. The view at the top is absolutely worth it, and the crew provides you with water before you start. Be sure to apply sunscreen and wear a cover-up and hat - there is little to no shade.
Pink beach was nice - and yes, actually pink. Be careful, there is sharp coral all through the beach, wear your thongs/sandals/soled dive shoes when walking/swimming.
Komodo island was incredible! We got so lucky and saw 9 - including a baby!! The crew walk you to the entrance and introduce you to your island guides who are very aware the entire time you walk around and are more than happy to take photos for you. It's a pretty dry environment so be sure to take more water with you on this walk. They have a lot of stalls to purchase souvenirs from (unfortunately didn't get a lot of time for this though). The included lunch was quite nice and filling and able to be enjoyed in the shade next to the beach.
The next stop was a sandbar in the middle of the ocean - crystal clear waters with lots of marine life. Nice and shallow for those anxious swimmers, but the opportunity is there to swim further out and snorkel over reefs. This was a nice refresher with the heat and humidity.
After this, we went to a couple of other locations for snorkelling. As I mentioned earlier, I was pretty nervous about the snorkelling due to the deep water, but it was great! The crew were amazing when it came to spotting mantas and turtles and were very quick to get the group in the water so they didn't miss out.
This tour was a real highlight of our holiday. The crew was amazing and regularly brought out snacks, and the drinks were on ice and self serve. They were incredibly polite and helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable.

Incredible experience. We saw lots of dragons as well as manta rays, turtles, sharks, dolphins and beautiful corals/landscapes. Guides were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Autumn_C, Oct 2025
Best tour I took in Indonesia pink sand beach was worth it alone and the snorkeling spots were beautiful saw a lot of fish, turtle, and a shark!
Daiva_M, Oct 2025
I had an amazing experience! The staff were incredible – very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The service was excellent, everything was transparent and of really good quality. I truly appreciated how smooth and easy everything was. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with outstanding service and staff!
Nadine_T, Oct 2025
The customer service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. However, the boat itself did not match what was promised. There was no bathroom on board, and the seats and the overall boat layout were completely different from the photos and the description provided, which was disappointing.
As for the attractions themselves, they were fantastic. The Pink Beach was truly pink, and I got to see several Komodo dragons in a safe environment. It was a bit sad to witness the poverty in the surrounding areas, but the snorkeling stops were amazing. I saw many turtles and even baby sharks. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see manta rays, but that’s a matter of nature and not the fault of the tour.
jananddianne, Sep 2025
Full day lots to see & do. Pink beach really is pink. Stopped here for a short wander along the shore or you could get food/refreshments.Bit of a climb for the view on one island, especially in the heat.
Obviously the Komodo dragons were the highlight. They provide a local guide, ours had a great sense of humour, was knowledgeable & took good photos for us. Didn’t need to go far to see some.
Snorkelling also good. Saw a couple of manta rays, a shark and a turtle-not bad!
ERICA_H, Sep 2025
This tour is jammed packed with stops and great for people who like to have active fun as well as seeing the komodo dragons. Friendly tour guide and boat staff.
PETER_W, Sep 2025
Truly excellent, with the exception of confusion and the port leading to me being taken on a different bot than expected. Long, exhausting climb to Padar Island viewpoint, but views w.ell worth the effort; Pink Beach was not very pink, but still a lovely spot. Komodo Dragons not very impressive, but still a good experience. Good snorkelling for those who wanted it. Nice views of other islands.
Ludyvine_S, Aug 2025
Activités were great and crew very convenient.
Boat clean, snack and cild soft drinks on the boat and great lunch on komodo island (keep an eye on your whats app before the day so yiu can choose your meal)
Sui_C, Aug 2025
Enjoyed the tour. We got to see 3 manta rays but only one of them were at the first snorkeling stop. When we got to Turtle Bay seeing the manta swim with the schools of fish were magical. Then seeing a few sea turtles just doing their thing, unbothered by swimmers, was stunning. The reefs and Coral are so beautiful here.
What I like about the guides when you're in the water is they come up above the water to call people over so they regularly keep you together, and tell you when they see something really cool so you can see it too.
The boat was nice and well stocked with water, bottled ice tea and some simple snacks. Bring a sanitizer or wipes for the bathrooms and when you're out and about.
Lunch was cold, but flavorful and sufficient for what you need in the day.
We went to Komodo Village to see the komodo, since it was mating season. We got to see 8 of them, and one that was maybe about 3-months old, which was unexpected. The team is professional and keeps an eye out in front and behind.
What I liked seeing and hearing is that the people live among the komodo and see them as brothers on the island. They don't mistreat, drug them or anything. A guide actually said that in the village they actually feed them as well so they're not aggressive. The children and people of the island will be so kind and greet you. Don't be surprised if the Komodo Village looks under developed. Bring some cash if you'd like to buy souvenirs, a drink or get an ice cream bar to support the locals who are just trying to get by.
Pink Beach is a very short stop. Not much here. Would've been nicer if they provided towels for this stop.
Overall, a nice experience. If you book a time slot, be aware that you may be asked to be ready for picked up an hour early. Probably my least favorite thing, but it is a common occurance among group tours.

I have mixed feelings about this experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly, the boat was fantastic, and the food was decent, while the six stops were enjoyable. However, considering the price we paid, I anticipated much more! I realize that the Komodo Island (home of the Komodo dragon) isn't a responsibility of this tour company, but a tip for future tourists is that you can only see ONE Komodo dragon, and that's it! Many others shared the same sense of disappointment! The other stops were fine, but with six stops, you only get between 20 to 45 minutes to explore each one. Once again, this isn't the company's fault; it's just how the tour is structured. If I return to Labuan Bajo, I would prefer fewer stops and more time at each location. The pick-up and drop-off service at the hotel was very convenient! Overall, it was a good experience. However, for the price I paid, I expected more. Thank you!!
Vaclav_B, Jul 2025
An amazing day trip! Absolutely thrilled with the care we received, from the morning pick up at the hotel to the evening drop off at the airport. We travelled by fast boat, completely safe and without any problems. The various stops were routine, with no problems whatsoever. We saw everything promised - panoramas of Padar Island, swimming at pink beach, 2 dragons at Komodo park and snorkeling over coral with turtles - a surreal experience of "flying" in the ocean current over a coral reef with all the colorful life. We were well taken care of the whole trip, chips, drinks and lunch within reason, snorkeling gear ok. Totally recommend it! We were a bit hesitant due to the higher competing prices, but we did well! Huge thanks.

Well organised tour, safe and lots of great places to visit. The crew were friendly and lots of fun.
Bar_S, Jul 2025
Organized very well, was very good. Went to all the right places, on schedule. The boat was convent and comfy.
ozkan_o, Jul 2025
The spots visited are really worth to go. Crew is extremely helpful. However, safety is a major issue. Boat is smaller than shown in the presentation and no seatbelts exist. Boat's size and lack of protection equipment breach the navigation safety. Big waves makes passengers up and down uncontrollably. There is a high risk of being injured . That's why I scored average. Except safety issues, it is a 5 star trip.
Agustin_E, Jul 2025
Excellent service from the organizers and guides, always in communication and attending to needs, I recommend it.
Nicholas_O, Jun 2025
This tour was the best deal for what you get. You get to see all of the highlights in Komodo Island. Pink beach was so beautiful and we were able to see 6 komodo dragons. The tour guides and boat staff were super friendly and the day was the highlight of our Indonesia Trip. You will not find a better deal for the price. Do not pay the extra for the other operators. The boat is nice, maybe not as "fancy" but you literally are just driving to each site and doing the same things and the boat is very nice, just not flashy like some. Also make sure to bring cash to tip the boat staff, they deserve it and you will love this trip. A must in LBJ / Komodo.

Tour was amazing, we saw Komodo, Turtles, the beaches were amazing and corals too
They did the Pickup and dropoff at the hotel
Rahmiati_A, Jun 2025
Swimming with manta ray, trekking komodo dragon were awesome. The captain of the boat, rian was really accomodating. He w e nt above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.
PUAYLIT_T, May 2025
My son and I had a great time. We did all the activities listed but our favorite were spotting the dragons and snorkeling. The sea life there was amazing. Also our guide Robin did a great job helping us spot the manta rays and finding the best coral spots. We were a bit tired from the snorkeling and he did a great job dragging us along with the life buoy to get to the fish. Thanks Robin.
