Fantastic hike. Easy for experienced walkers- if you’re new to walking just ensure you have good walking shoes on. The path can be slippy and uneven especially the last section on the river bed.
The lunch stop by the river was idilllic. The guide Carlos, was knowledgeable and made the walk fun. Excellent transport arrangements.

Die ganze Wanderung ist atemberaubend und sollte bei einem La Palma Aufenthalt nicht fehlen. Ist aber auch sehr anstrengend, da sollte man sich nicht vertun durch den wesentlich längeren Abstieg und das Durchlaufen des Flussbetts. Danke auch an Merle, unseren Guide. Die Wanderung ist teilweise anspruchsvoll, aber zu schaffen. Unsere supernette und humorvolle Wanderführerin Silvie ist sehr gut auf die Gruppe eingegangen und hat uns auf mögliche Gefahren auf den manchmal recht steilen Wegen hingewiesen. Praktisch waren dabei die hölzernen Wanderstöcke, die Silvie vor Beginn verteilt hat. Während zahlreicher kurzer Pausen hat sie uns viel erklärt zur Entstehung und Geschichte La Palmas, der Flora und Fauna, den Gesteinen und den klimabedingten Veränderungen. In der Mitte der Wanderung gab es eine 45min Pause. Die Landschaft ist einmalig, die Wege sind abwechslungsreich und die Ausblicke fantastisch. Eine sehr schöne Tour!

Wat een prachtige wandeling. Zonder mijn gezin deelgenomen. Mijn man en 2 pubers vonden deze toch iets te uitdagend. Alleen de Caldera lopen leek me toch wat onverstandig. De gidsen waren heel enthousiast. Leuke groep ook. Was niet vervelend om alleen deel te nemen. Genoten!
