On this guided half-day tour, venture from the historic center of Santa Cruz to Caldera de Taburiente National Park, listening to stories behind the island’s unique volcanic geology—and the lives impacted by its eruptions—along the way.

Step aboard the “Fancy II” for a dolphin and whale cruise around the northern shores of La Palma. With a professional crew, you’ll improve your chances of seeing the cetaceans out at sea and discover the coastline, too. In just a few hours, you’ll see the grottos of Cueva Bonita and Cueva Candelaria along with the sands of Playa de La Veta.

Enjoy a guided kayak tour from the Porís de Candelaria, a unique seaside enclave where ancient fishermen’s houses are integrated into a large natural cave. You will be provided with the necessary material (individual kayak, shovel and life jacket) along with a brief initial explanation, so no prior experience is required. The activity includes titled guide, liability insurance and photos. During the route you will tour the coast of Tijarafe, discovering cliffs, sea caves, coves and crystal clear waters in a unique natural environment. The main point will be the Cueva Bonita, where it will be accessed if the sea permits. What makes this experience special is the combination of a spectacular natural environment, access to places only reachable by sea and the tranquility of walking along the coast at your own pace, away from crowded areas. The activity ends by returning to the starting point after a safe and complete experience.

Excursions are organized routes, designed to see the most interesting points on the west coast of the island. As they are, the Cueva Bonita, the Jurado ravine, El Porís de Candelaria, La Veta beach, the Colorada cave and the port of Puntagorda. Then we will sail for any cetacean type that swims through our waters, and finally we would also see the new sashes of the new volcano. Duration: approximately 2 hours. Capacity: 11 passengers.
