Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East. If you stay in Ton Sai, please come to the meeting point at Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang. If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. Pickup times for each zone: • Ao Nam Mao: 08:20 • Ao Nang: 08:00 - 08:15 • Klong Muang Beach: 07:45 • Krabi Town: 07:45 • Nopparat Thara Pier: 08:15 • Tubkaek Beach: 07:45

The worst tour of my lifetime

Perhaps the worst tour I’ve ever been on. I bought it on viator the night before. I received an email that they’d pick us up at 8. At 8:30, after I got tired of staring at the door, I finally decided to reach out to them and they responded that they’re running late because one of the passengers was late. They didn’t even have the courtesy to let us know so we wouldn’t have to wait in the lobby. They also didn’t apologize for the delay. The driver showed up at 9! I asked the other attendees who was late and they all responded that the driver picked them up late too. It took us almost 2 hours to get there. The rafting was less than 30 minutes long and they kept trying to sell the longer option to all of us at an additional rate. They even charged us 250 baht per person for the photos. Anyways, We had purchased the tour with ATV. After rafting, they asked us to go on a complimentary zip line. It was one line. Lasted 5 seconds and then we had to walk back. The organizers then kept circling back to us regarding whether we should go to ATV after rafting or do it after lunch. Finally, he said since we were the only 2 people in our party who had booked the ATV, they told us to eat lunch first and then quickly head to the ATV. We ate lunch in less than 10 minutes then a truck took us to the ATV site. Despite booking for an hour, the whole ATV experience was 45 minutes. The first 15-20 minutes, the guide was slowly taking us around the lot to “teach us”. We’ve done ATV in other places and I can confidently say it was a Super boring experience. Once the ATV ended, we had to wait for 15 minutes until the driver arrived. During this time they sold us our atv photos for 200 baht. At this point, we assumed we’re going to be heading to the next destination directly BUT the driver said we had to wait another 30 minutes - 1 hour because 6 people in our party were going on ATV tours. We were mind-blown! If they had the ATV experience part of their package then why didn’t we all head there together?! I contacted the operator but they could care less and refused to arrange transportation for us to leave. We ended up waiting another 45 minutes until the party ended their atv segment. We were then taken to the waterfalls without ANY tour guide to explain as to where we are or what the place was. The driver would only tell us “here for three zero minutes”. After the waterfalls, we were taken to the monkey temple. Again, no explanation provided. After spending thirty minutes there, we headed back to the hotel (almost 2 hour drive). The van was super small and every single seat was taken. Felt extremely nauseous in the confined space and long distance. There are many better tour operators. I would avoid this tour at all costs and will be sending an official complaint to the tourism board.

Dear Tannaz_H Thanks for your intense review. In my opinion you should have booked a private trip where you can 100% control every minute of the trip. This is a join tour where you also have to care and sometimes wait for others. You were very rude on the phone and also with the guides. We are sorry that we did not match your high expectations.

Overall the experience is good, but the weather is hot, we have to wait for the raft to get in the water and standing on the toasty hot rock almost burn my feet off. i rate this as a must try if you like fast and bumpy ride!

Wir haben insgesamt für 30 Minuten Rafting ca. 3 Stunden warten müssen. Die Leute sind unfreundlich und nerven wegen Trinkgeld. Wir sollten für Trinken Geld bezahlen. Der ganze Tag war für die Hose. Lasst es sein.
