What To Expect
Your transfer begins with an afternoon pickup from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang, or Tubkaek Beach. You’ll be transported to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang, where you’ll board the Ao Nang Princess ferry.
After making a short stop at Railay Beach to pick up more passengers, set sail across the Andaman Sea to Phuket, about a 2.5-hour ferry ride. While on the ferry, take a seat inside the boat, use the onboard restrooms, or admire the views from the open-air deck.
On arrival at Phuket’s Rassada Port, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Phuket Town, Patong, Kata, Karon, or Chalong.

Pick up was great. Exactly as advertised. Comfortable and organized. Not handicapped assessable for those who might need it. If you have kids, you’ll want to be vigilant. Drop off was also great. Would do it again no question.

Smooth experience but a lot of the seats on the ferry are broken and you have to travel over 3 boats to get to the dock with your luggage so it’s best to travel light. Overall getting from one hotel to the other was convenient with transportation included and the views were nice.

A very stress free way to travel between Krabi and Phuket. Not only was our pickup in Krabi was on time, but we also got dropped off right at our hotel in Phuket. The boat was clean and air conditioned....a definite must with Thailand's hot weather. Also, had great communications experience with this transport provider..

Our experience with this tour operator was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
Our pickup time was clearly stated as 9:45 AM via WhatsApp message from the company. We were already in the hotel lobby with all our luggage before that time. When no one showed up, I messaged them at 9:53 AM asking where the driver was. He repeatedly said he was “at the lobby,” so I sent a photo showing no one there.
A few minutes later, a very angry man came walking from across a busy street, yelling at us aggressively, claiming he had been waiting since 9:30 AM. He continued yelling for several minutes, even after I showed him the WhatsApp message confirming our 9:45 pickup time. He was extremely unprofessional, hostile, and did not help us with our luggage at all, instead forcing us to cross a busy street struggling with multiple bags while he continued shouting.
That alone was unacceptable—but unfortunately, the experience got worse.
The boat was very run-down, and the entire 2-hour journey from Ao Nang to Rassada Pier smelled strongly of gasoline. While there were life jackets on every seat, they were covered in visible mold, which raised serious safety and hygiene concerns.
Overall, this company lacks professionalism, customer service, and basic safety standards. I deeply regret not booking a private transfer instead and would not recommend this tour company to anyone.

Great service including pick up and drop off at hotels. There was a bit of confusion at embarkation as it wasn’t clear you needed to queue at the ticket office to register, despite the booking. But all good and comfortable trip.

Way to many people and luggage in the truck during pick up
Also they wanted us to pay an extra 1000 bath for the drop off at our hotel. We refuse and got drop off at the closest hotel for free wich was a 3 minutes walk... 1000 bath for someting that could be walked in 3 minutes...

We were supposed to be picked up between 0900 and 0930 but no one showed up. Tried to get hold of someone for assistance but decided we should hire our own ride due to time constraints. Around 0945 we received a ride and later we're contacted and advised the tour operator was running late and should be at the hotel around 0955. Too much anxiety waiting for ride to make it to ferry on time.

This ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket was an absolute disaster! It was poorly organized from start to finish and ended up taking hours longer than advertised.
Here's the breakdown of this travel nightmare:
Pick-up Chaos: My pick-up window was between 2pm and 2:30pm. I waited patiently, bags packed, until 2:45pm before they finally arrived. Not a great way to start the journey.
Disorganized Departure: Once at the ferry jetty, the process was chaotic. It took ages to get everyone sorted, and the boat ended up leaving a full 45 minutes behind schedule.
Extended Journey: The ferry trip itself took much longer than advertised, meaning we didn't arrive in Phuket Old Town until 7:30pm – already several hours behind schedule.
Minivan Mishap: Arriving in Phuket, the promised hotel transfer fell apart. The tour company didn't have minivans for a direct transfer, so they crammed us all onto a large bus. This bus then proceeded to completely bypass my hotel and take us on a scenic (and entirely unnecessary) 30-minute detour to the other side of the beach and the bus terminal.
Double Transfer: Finally, at the bus terminal, they shuffled us into another minivan for a "direct" hotel transfer. "Direct" in this case apparently meant another 20-minute drive before I finally reached my hotel – at a staggering 9:40pm!
Avoid this company if you value your time and sanity! The entire transfer was poorly managed, took far too long, and left me exhausted and frustrated. Look elsewhere for a ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket – there are definitely better options out there!

Driver picked us up on time. A little squished in the truck, but otherwise good. Good boat ride. We left around 15 minutes late and arrived around 45 minutes late. The driver from the pier in Phuket did a fine job and got us to our hotel.

Easy booking and good communication with tour operator. It was a little confusing at the harbor in Krabi but it all came together. The boat was clean although the Video monitors didn't work.

Had to board smaller boat and after 30 minutes, in the middle of sea to switch from first boat to ferry.

Truck Arrived very late to pick us up from hotel, which was very anxiety provoking!!! Got to pier, had to transfer from 1 ferry to another to get to the ferry we were travelling to Phuket, when we eventually got on the ferry informed that we would need to pay an additional 200 baht each if we wanted to go on the top deck!!! We choose not to!!! We felt like caged animals & claustrophobic, as there was very little space to wander in the fresh air & capture the sea views. The ferry was anticipated to take 2.5 hours but took 4.5 hours, stopping off at sea to pick up from speedboat & longboats, however, these passengers were directed upstairs, no sight of paying the extra 200 but???
No complimentary coffee or water!!
AoNang travel definitely not as good as Phi Phi cruiser, who are far more organised & professional

I'd read a few reviews and got a 2ish hour travel time, so thought I'd be landing in Phuket at 5ish. Not the case. Ferry didn't leave till after 3.30pm and took 3 and a half hours, didn't arrive till after 7 then over an hour for transfer to hotel arriving after 8pm.
After getting picked up around 2pm this was over a 6 hour journey, soooo leave plenty of time for this travel 👍
The ferry itself was good, a can of beer and crisps available to buy on board, you can sunbathe on the top deck if you wish. The sunset pics as your coming into Phuket harbor are amazing. All in all a good trip, but, leave plenty of time for it 🙏

Communication and pick up went smoothly as the tour operator let me know via WhatsApp on pick up from my hotel. The ferry itself left a bit to be desired as the fumes from the gasoline were overwhelming. Spent most of my time on the deck to get fresh air. Trip was quick and staff was helpful in directing and with luggage as mine was a bit heavy.

Comfortable transfer from hotel to the pier. The operator is very responsive with responses to your queries which is extremely helpful. The boat itself was comfortable.
On reaching Phuket, the bus that takes us to our hotel was easily available and we barely had any confusions or wait time. All in all, I recommend the service if you’re looking for a comfortable transfer from krabi to Phuket without any hiccups.
