The Rumi Whirling Dervishes ceremony was absolutely amazing and a truly memorable experience. Everything was very well organized, and the venue was beautiful, creating a wonderful atmosphere for this special spiritual and cultural performance.
What made the experience even more meaningful was the detailed explanation of each step of the ceremony. The messages and explanations displayed on the screen helped us understand the symbolism, traditions, and spiritual significance behind the ritual, making it much more than just a performance to watch.
The entire ceremony was presented with great care and respect for the tradition, allowing us to appreciate its beauty and deeper meaning.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Konya. It is a unique opportunity to discover an important part of Turkish culture and the spiritual legacy of Rumi. Definitely a must-do when visiting the city!
Unique and wonderful! The ceremony components of the ceremony are explained on an overhead screen which helps understand it. The eight dervishes rotate quite close to the audience so it’s a very intimate experience.
It is a religious ceremony and as such very interesting. Explained on the screens for the uninitiated.
The music, reed flute and the ceremony singers were skilled, not to mention the actual dervish spinning.

Watched this dervish ceremony of worship through their whirling to unite with the divine right near the Mevlana tomb which made it special in a way. Program is not too long, not too short, just right. Live musicians do a great job too creating a soulful environ. Spectators go quiet and don't clap as this isn't a show but a quiet sort of participation in the prayer of very young and old dervishes.

The location was walking distance from Mahleva museum. They do have couple of stores for souvenirs and art work so I highly recommend to get there earlier to explore the stores and find much better art that the market. Very easy and convenient check in. Went straight to the help desk or information person and showed my reservation. The show is engaging and very spiritual. There are explanations in English so you definitely enjoys and understand the meaning behind the swirling . I highly recommend it.

The Cultural Centre is modern and welcoming. Probably seats about 120-150 persons. The ceremony itself is very spiritual. Truly an amazing experience. Definitely worth the trip to Konya

It was interesting to see.
Although it started at 8pm, groups of people, some quite large in number, kept entering even up to 8.30pm. It was very distracting and felt disrespectful.
