Early morning walking tour of the British colonial sites, good for beating the heat!

JeanH_K, Feb 2026
The tour commences at 6:30 AM and lasts until 9:15 which is very early but beats the heat and traffic and allows tourists to go back to the hotel for a late breakfast (or late morning snooze). The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. We had a great time walking the streets and sampling the early morning chai tea. This tour allows time for another tour later in the day!

This was the most amazing tour, the guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. I learnt so many new things that I would not learn otherwise. The tour definitely gave me a different and very positive view of Kolkata. Highly recommended
