Great value. Huge boat for just two guests. Driver and two other staff friendly and food provided excellent and plentiful. Only downside the boat is looking a little old but it didn’t bother us. Great relaxing chilled out experience

Thank you for the review and we are happey that you had a memorable tour in our houseboat.
The houseboat we were on was new and in top condition. We had a captain, cook and deck hand. Boat was air conditioned and very comfortable. A few things that led to this not being a 5 star experience: 1) we started late 2) there was no village walk and no local fishing activity as mentioned in our tour description 3) water in sink and shower in bedroom would go off suddenly--we had to ask 3 times to turn on the water 4) When we docked for the night, the chef took us to a seafood shop 15vmeters away and asked us what we wanted for dinner--my wife chose a tiger prawn and I wanted fried fish. The only problem was that I was asked to fork out $17? If meals were included why was I being asked to pay for dinner entrees?? I did not pay to the dismay of the cook. Compared to the great lunch we had that day, dinner -- eh!

We thank you for a review about our services in Kerala. We have noted the points and suggestions raised and surely implement in due course.
Boarding was late for an 1hr. We know this and the actual boat booked had some operational problems and upgraded to a luxury boat and it started at 1pm instead of 12pm. But we extended the tour till 6.30pm where as normally it shoud be till 1730hrs.
We have a set menu in the boat, and this is more than adequte for the guests. Tiger Prowns, crabs etc are not included in the menu. If the guest want, they can buy this from outside but there is no compulsion.
Local fishing could not offered as by 6.30pm it was dark out side.
The points raised by the guest is seriously taken into consideration and will fill up the shortcoming in the next booking onwards.

However the Manager who text us on WhatsApp was little bit rude (never seen him in person)
The other staff in boat are very Friendly

Our overnight houseboat trip was fantastic. Ram and Jijee provided five star service throughout the whole trip. The food was incredible and Ram had so much knowledge of the local area, and Jijee cooked us the best food we have had in India so far. I’d recommend this tour because it includes visiting a few different lakes and canals, a smaller boat cruise through a narrow canal that large houseboats can’t visit (Kurtan was lovely) and the best part is the houseboat can dock on the canal for the night vs parking back where you take off which is a unique and creates a truly tranquil experience
We really had a good time on this trip. In the beginning we drove on some rather busy water ways, with a lot of boats. We loved more the evening as well as the morning returning. When there were almost no other boats and we could enjoy the quite part of the backwaters. The food was delicious and the stuff nice and helpful.

Lovely trip - peaceful and quiet. Houseboat for 2 was lovely, the staff on board very helpful and the food on board great.
If you want beer on board bring it with you as there isn't anywhere near the pick up point to buy any. Also allow plenty of time as the pick up point is off the beaten track and difficult to find.

We thank you for review about our 21hrs houseboat service in Alleppey backwaters. We are very satisfied that you had a memorable time in houseboat. Yes, its alwasy better to bring beer or wine which is not available near to the boarding point.
It was an incredibly fun and relaxing 2 days. Our captain and chef were wonderful, the food was some of the best we've had on our trip. It was the perfect amount of space on the boat for 2 people. Watching daily life of the Kerala Backwater residents was a great part of the experience floating by as well. Our only issue was that it was a bit tough to find the launching point from the information provided in Viator.
This was such an amazing trip - beautiful scenery, delicious food, excellent service and a comfortable night’s sleep. There was a little confusion around the pick up point but other than that it was all plain sailing.

My partner and I loved this cruise. We'd done a fair bit of research and settled on this boat as we're keen on a private cruise and a smaller boat and as budget/mid range traveller this was a really good price.
The boat was exactly as described and spacious for two. The bedroom was decorated beautifully and the aircon powerful.
The cruise itself was peaceful and even on the busy backwaters our captain managed to find quiet canals and at times it felt we were alone on the backwater with nature (I have never seen so many birds!).
The crew were brilliant respectful of the environment and cooked us fantastic and varies vegetarian food.
I would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Tout était parfait ! Le repas était très bon et copieux, le personnel très attentif et aimable, les lieux visités très intéressants et la chambre bien isolée et climatisée était un vrai plus !
