It’s a private tour, so we can pick up travellers from the railway station, bus stand, airport, or hotels within Cochin city. If the pickup/ drop location is different from the ones mentioned, it can still be arranged at an additional cost. Please note Cochin to Munnar is around 3.30 - 4 hrs drive through ghat roads, so advisable to go directly to Munnar if arrival is before 4 pm. Minimum 2 passengers require to available the given special rate.

- The price is valid for a minimum of two passengers travelling together. Solo travelers are required to pay the two-person rate to secure a private room, as single room rates are not available at the hotels.
- For three passengers, the third person will be comfortably accommodated in the same room with an extra bed (rolling cot) at the hotels, and a mattress will be provided in the houseboat. If a separate room is required for the third person, it can be arranged at an additional cost.
- Infant seats are available upon prior notice at an additional cost.
- Full name, Passport number, expiry date and country is required at time of booking for all passengers
- Customer should obtain any visa requirements prior to arrival. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler

We went on a 5-day private tour in Kerala, which we booked with Sanguine through the Viator app. They arranged the trip wonderfully. Nimisha was amazing — always available to answer our questions and help whenever we needed. Sumesh was an excellent driver and a knowledgeable guide throughout the trip. The cost was very reasonable, and they arranged beautiful resorts. The houseboat experience was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kerala and created unforgettable memories there.

This trip was just perfect for us. We don't enjoy large group tours and this had all the intimacy and flexibility we needed. Nimisha took great care of us well before we even left our home country. We were struggling to buy tickets for the Lake Safari and she made it all nice and easy. Communication was always great.
We were lucky enough to get Achu as our driver. He grew up in the region and spoke great English. He was able to educate us on the area and show us locals spots. Great driving too!
After a couple of weeks of Delhi, Mumbai and other cities this was a great change of pace.
If we did it again we would add in a few more days to relax in each location. That was our choice but we know better for next time!

We had a very good experience in Kerala. Our driver was excellent and would highly recommend the trip. We could have done away with Thekkady as the resort wasn't that great. But otherwise very well organised trip!
This was a great trip showcasing the beauty of Kerala from the tea plantations to the national forests and lowlands rice patties. The highlight was meandering down the tributaries in a houseboat. Overall the driver was excellent managing the challenging traffic and hairpin twists and turns. The staff everywhere was caring for our safety, very courteous and helpful. The hotels were good and food was fantastic.
This trip gives you an opportunity to see Eravikulam Park, Periyar Reserve and Backwaters all in just a few days, a few gorgeous places around Kerala, absolutely worth seeing. The driver that we were provided was super professional (very important for the heavy mountain traffic in Kerala), and the provided hotels were top quality.
Please keep in mind that the driver that they provide is not a guide — so most of the information about the places could be limited. If you are interested in this particular bit of the experience, you may want to contact the tour operator about it and doublecheck, it could also depend on a driver.
The visits to the animal sanctuaries were the most fun. We also enjoyed the Kerala folk dance show. The location of the Leaf hotel in Munnar was excellent along with the views it offered. Our Driver Anil was the best, he was accommodating of us wanting to stop and take pictures and explaining the sites and the views.the house boat was a great capstone to the tour the staff on board and the meals were excellent.
On the negative side the Merryweather hote resort l in Thekkady was a little cramped and the lighting in the room left a lot to be desired. The breakfast in both hotels were decent but not great. For Kerala the dosas left a lot to be desired.
Although we were told ours was a private tour some of places we would have liked to stop at we were told was not on the tour inspite of being told, in writing, we could stop wherever we liked.
Nous avion un bon chauffeur, mais le véhicule était beaucoup trop petit pour 4 adultes et très inconfortable. L’hotel à Munnar n’était pas terrible et un de nos amis est tombé malade a cause de la nourriture de l’hotel ou l’eau, sans doute non filtrée. Le bateau sur Alleype était sale.
