Overview
The Southern Indian state of Kerala has a unique and distinct cuisine, and you will learn to cook it for yourself during this fun cooking class. Not just a demonstration, you will have a hands-on experience and make the dishes yourself. As this lesson is held in your instructor’s home, you’ll experience how ordinary Keralites live. Afterwards, enjoy eating the three-course meal you prepared. Foodies will love this activity, but you don’t need to be an experienced cook to have fun.

Most Indian people are nice and cooperative, willing to help - and for some it's only about the money.

Dear Jan,
It is extremely disappointing to see you leave a misleading and unfair review. You chose to cancel your booking 2 days before the class because you did not want to travel to our location, which was entirely your personal decision based on your convenience. Yet, you post a review so vague saying its all about money for us?
Our no-refund policy was clearly stated before you booked, and we even took the time to explain this to you on chat, where you acknowledged it and responded, “Ok, see you.” Despite that, you have now decided to publicly misrepresent the situation.
Our policy exists because we prepare for every class in advance— and even booking post-class cleaning services that we pay for upfront with no refunds. Last-minute cancellations also prevent other guests from booking that slot. You booked this class last year and had the slot reserved for you for more than 6 months!
Your review is misleading and damaging, and we respectfully ask that you remove it immediately. Publicly posting false and defamatory claims is not only unethical but also has legal consequences. If this review is not taken down immediately, we will be forced to take legal action regarding defamation, to protect our business and reputation.
We always go above and beyond in our classes and all the guest feedback here is a true testament to that, and that its not just about money for us! We welcome honest feedback, but we cannot allow false claims to go unaddressed.

The class was advertised as being a cooking class at Kochi. We did not realise that it was 55 kilometres out of Kochi and as we were leaving the following morning we did not have the extra 3hrs travel time. We contacted the host and she has not responded to our messages. We had four people in our group. So we’re not very happy.

Hello !
We apologise for the inconvenience. We have given the exact complete address in the listing as Alappuzha, Kerala. The website picks up the closest metropolitan city (Kochi) unfortunately and we have already raised this issue with the Viator (tripadvisor) platform as it was a mistake from their end, which they are looking to resolve.
We also did respond to your whatsapp messages mentioning the same and we are still awaiting viator’s response so we could let you know the actions taken on this complaint.
