Take the tour with this ’smaller’ local operator to get you to the must see places on the island. Much more convenient then a large coach..

The taxi tour of Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness, and Unstan Chambered Cairn was exactly what our family of 4 was needing. We were picked up at the cruise port promptly. Nothing ever felt rushed and we went at our own pace. If we wanted to spend less time in an area we just headed back to the car. The scenery was beautiful despite the drizzling rain. There was even an owl who decided to grace us with his presence during the drive by perching on one of the fence posts. We arranged for our guide to drop us off at the Magnus Cathedral so we could visit a couple of the local shops like Judith Glue(highly recommended for handmade goods) and catch the free shuttle back to our ship.

We had a great tour with our fantastic driver/guide Gail. She was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the Island and the sites we visited. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She prepared us for each site before we got there so that we wouldn’t miss a thing.
