Great day out! Our Trainee tour guide Nam was fantastic and the driver ( I think his name was go) was excellent. They were both interactive and gave good information about our tour. Really enjoyed the bamboo rafting and the guy assisting us was very helpful. It was a little difficult for me to get on and off the raft and I appreciated his help. I highly recommend this trip

We had an amazing day on our tour with Marta. Every stop was thoughtfully planned, and she made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Spending time with the elephants was unforgettable, the visit to the Buddhist temple was peaceful and meaningful, and rafting down the river was the perfect way to end the day. Marta was warm, knowledgeable, and truly a pleasure to spend time with. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Very well organised from start to finish. Non stop day with fantastic interaction with both the elephants and monkeys and just outstanding scenery.

A great trip. Our driver and guide Robert was very friendly and spoke very good english. First we were taken to a local food market in Khaolak Then on to the monkey temple, lots of very inquisitive monkeys around the grounds not afraid of people at all. The temple was colourful. Then onto the bamboo rafts lovely, half way you get off the raft and climb up a steep bank to a cave where you have coffee from a bamboo cup, crazy! After the rafting you go to a restaurant for lunch which was good. Next we went to the elephant camp. Spent time feeding and then down to the river to bath the elephant. An amazing day.

Such an amazing trip, so much to see in the beautiful Khao Sok National Park floating down the river followed by a delicious lunch.
Amazing time spent with such majestic elephants where we fed them and then bathed them.
If I could change anything it would be to miss out the market where we stopped for 20 minutes and spend more time on the river, but wow, such a fantastic day

We had an amazing Bamboo Rafting Tour! 🌿🚣♂️
Our guide and driver were super friendly and made the whole trip really enjoyable. The Thai market was an absolute highlight with so many authentic impressions, and the Monkey Temple is definitely a must-see. The elephants were simply breathtaking and such an unforgettable experience. Even the bamboo canoe ride was great fun and gave us beautiful views.

Brilliant, varied day out, thoroughly recommend. Title of trip doesn’t really do it justice, rafting is only a small part of the day. Our guide ‘ Nok’ was brilliant, she took us around a local market first and encouraged us to try some new foods. The the elephant sanctuary, washing the animals in the river was amazing, better than the one in Phuket. Then rafting with a coffee break, lunch and Monkey temple.

My review is over a year late lol but this was an awesome experience with my son. The guide and bus driver were amazing with amole time in many places. We bathed elephants, visited the monkey temple (meh tbh), visited a local market, hiked and rafted the river too! Had an amazing coffee drinking experience in the jungle made in bamboo over an open fire. 10/10.

What can I say about this experience… and it WAS an experience! Small group (which is always a bonus) weather fantastic and our guide for the day Run, was excellent. Food at lunch outstanding and there was plenty of water etc to drink on the way. Elephant experience was once in a lifetime, bamboo rafting was serene and safe and was brilliant just to be able to slowly take the spectacular view in our stride. As usual Viator have exceeded themselves.

The entire day was top notch. We were picked up by Mr Mark and he took great care of us. The elephant sanctuary and bamboo rafting were unique experiences we won’t forget. Mr Mark drove us to each excursion and we never felt rushed. It was a very enjoyable day.

The bamboo rafting was the highlight. It was so relaxing and peaceful in an environment that few experience. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. Bathing and feeding the elephants and getting up close to these majestic beasts was truly wonderful.

Small intimate trip of 8 people with a very knowledgeable enthusiastic tour guide. We first headed to a street market them out to the elephants
We fed and bathed them with plenty of opportunities for photos. Next we headed to the Monkey Temple where wild monkeys were running free then it was time for an hour on a bamboo raft which was very peaceful. As we floated along the river we saw wild monkeys high up on the trees, a snake and some frogs. We stopped half way for a coffee in bamboo cups which tasted lovely. It was quite a climb to the spot where we had coffee but our bamboo 'driver' helped me and later allowed my mum to guide the raft along thr river. All in all a great trip seeing more rural Thailand.

Our tour guide Witun was kind and joyful. He really set the mood high with his energy. Good transportation and driver as well. Everything was on time. Bamboo rafting was one of the most memorable activities I've ever done! Learning and taking care of the elephants was heartwarming and amazing. I gave 4 stars because the meet and feed with the monkeys could be organized a bit better. Otherwise I truly recommend this day trip for everyone.

What an amazing experience! GG our tour guide was absolutely amazing. We truly didn’t know what to expect but wow it was a great personal touring experience. We stopped at the morning market, bathe with elephants, had tea and tasty treats, visited the viewpoint that was featured in the movie Gold and went bamboo rafting with coffee in the jungle. We had a great lunch to top it off and on the journey back out tour guide allowed us to stop at a natural spring for a quick dip. She did an amazing job and happy we had her as our personal guide for the day

We really enjoyed all aspects of this tour except the visit to the Muslim village. By the time we finished eating we were rushed through the village with no opportunity to shop. Areas of the village didn’t feel very safe. Loved the long-tailed boat ride, the canoeing and James Bond Island. The scenery was breathtaking.

This was a great day - the monkeys at the temple were great, the bamboo rafting with unforgettable, and the bathing/washing elephants was once in a lifetime. Our tour guide & driver were both incredibly fun & helpful. It was a fantastic day. The only slight negative point was in the elephant sanctuary - while washing one of the elephants, I was knocked over by its trunk which was fine - it's a wild animal & I wasn't injured - but the "trainer" guy looking after the elephant flew off the handle & went completely over the top IMO, repeatedly hitting the elephant with his stick in such a rage, the guy's sandals flew about the river. The other couple on the tour told me after that they were similarly as unsettled by his response. I'm not an expert with elephants by any means, but having read before the bathing/washing about how the sanctuary aimed to use "positive reinforcement" to train the elephants, witnessing this massive overreaction & disturbingly aggressive response put a downer on what was an otherwise memorable day. That is, of course, not the fault of the tour guide etc, so perhaps they could seek out another elephant sanctuary or pass on this review to those responsible.

Die Bambusflossfahrt und das Elefantencamp waren toll ! Abfahrt jedoch nicht pünktlich, altes Fahrzeug mit zu vielen Passagieren. Affenkloster wurde einfach ausgelassen ( angeblich war es für die Tiere zu warm - hahaha ). Preis von Viator überzogen, andere Teilnehmer waren deutlich günstiger unterwegs.

Schöne Tour abseits der Touristenströme. Unser Guide war sehr nett, die Flossfahrt, der Affentempel und das Elefantenbaden waren toll, da wir immer nur zu zweit waren.
