The museum was founded 25 years ago by a pair of quilting enthusiasts from Paducah, and it’s grown into the largest quilting-specific facility in the world.
All galleries and exhibits at the National Quilt Museum are wheelchair accessible.

A out thought we would be able to see quilts from throughout the ages. He was a beautiful show of several artists and techniques.
Came specifically to see the Tula Pink exhibit and was blown away by all of the other quilts in the museum. It was an amazing experience if you are a creative person and felt rejuvenating leaving there with so many ideas!

Amazing ! I went to the book signing and to see the Tula exhibit and was not disappointed. Tula was gracious and signed many items as Cameron took pictures of us. I was completely star struck! The 20 years of Tula left me speechless, everything was gorgeous. The Janet Stone exhibit was impressive. The fact someone could make a quilt so beautiful.
The entire experience was great, I am so glad I went.
Absolutely worth the trip - lovely grounds, building and the exhibited quilts are breathtaking and inspirational. My husband equally was impressed with the collection.
The display changes on a schedule due to space. The quilts are beautiful for display not regular use. They are art work.
Ya are a scam and the tickets you sent didn’t work!! Don’t buy online!! Buy directly at the place. I talk to my bank and told them what happened!

Once I bought more tickets there at the place, I had no issue. The bank replaced my money where the website scammed me!

The museum was amazing! The displays were well done and fascinating! The Vator ticketing process failed to include the required QR code, unfortunately. I was able to request a refund and buy tickets at the museum.
It was fabulous!! Knowing very little about the museum beforehand, I expected to spend a couple of hours there, but boy, was I surprised. I could have spent an entire day there. Such talent!
I loved the Barbara McCraw special exhibit as well as many of the other quilts. The receptionist and the guide were absolutely wonderful. Well worth the trip from Lexington! Inspiring! We were in awe!
