This trip was amazing. Janaka was so lovely and knowledgeable. He was accomodating, punctual and communicated well about all we were doing. The trip was amazing but his knowledge made it even better.

My partner and I had an absolutely joyous day with our companion Dinuwickz - we were between many options for a guide/driver, and finally settled with OneWorldTours, though we booked it slightly late (10pm the night before) and thus were cautious that the booking wouldn’t be relayed till the morning. Though I wouldn’t advise leaving it late to book, fortunately we were responded to that same evening and had a scheduled pickup early the next morning at 8am, with perfect timing by Dinuwickz. Throughout the entire day, he was kind, thoughful , informative, a good photographer and most of all, patient for all the wonders we wanted to stop and see. Even with early starts and late evening returns, he was cordial and punctual, waiting for us as we climbed Pidurangala Rock, and showing us lesser known spots to view Sigiriya. We managed to fit in the Elephant Sanctuary Jeep Ride which was a true highlight for the entire trip. What a truly beautiful day. We ran into him a few days later in Kandy on our return to Colombo which was a lovely surprise.

We had a brilliant day out. The guide was really friendly and super knowledgeable. We experienced bad weather in parts and the itinerary was switched around to best suit the weather. The highlight of the day was the elephant safari we saw tons of elephants really close up what an experience. The guide also took lots of pictures of us throughout the day. Thank you so much for an unforgettable day.

I can’t recommend this tour and guide enough.
Picked up on time and excellent communication. The itinerary is amazing. The elephant park is more than I could ever have dreamed of. If wildlife is your thing then book this tour without hesitation.
Not only is the guide friendly as advertised, he is so knowledgeable. I got a history lesson in between each stop and it was truly fascinating.
We also went to a lovely place for lunch and the entire trip is catered to your needs - nothing is too much trouble.
If like me you read lots of reviews before booking, rest assured you can book this tour without any doubts or hesitation.
In addition to saying thank you for such an amazing tour, I’d also like to say thank you so much for going above and beyond in helping me with other aspects of my trip. We had an absolutely amazing day with Janika. We experienced so much in one day without it feeling rushed. From start to finish we were looked after like family and Janika went above and beyond to inform us about all the parts of our trip in a knowledgeable and fun way as well as helping us after the tour with what we wanted to do later in our holiday. We felt so cared for and looked after in a truly genuine and kind way. He helped us with a change of plan for the next day by organising his colleague Bandana (we may not have spelt their names correctly) to help us with our last minute change of plans. He too went above and beyond to ensure we had the very best experience. These guys were fantastic and really put our wants first and did everything possible to help us. As a result we saw great sites, saw many elephants, ate awesome food, had a wonderful train ride, learned loads and had brilliant contacts for the rest of our trip. My only regret is we didn’t know them before coming to Sri Lanka. They really made our trip so very special. I can’t recommend them enough!

Me and my friend had the best day exploring Sigirya, Dambula, Minneriya National Park (safari). Our driver’s name was Dinu and he was the kindest and most chivalrous driver! He was always super punctual and personalised the tour to what we wanted to do. My favourite part was the Safari Jeep tour with driver Janaka (he was the best safari driver!). Taking us to the best spots and taking really awesome photos for us, he was teaching us how to pose and where to stand for the best pictures. I also enjoyed all the restaurants that Dinu took us to whenever we requested a specific food. We loved it so much we asked Dinu to be our driver the next day to explore Polonoruwa which was also fantastic! He also took us shopping as we wanted to buy some clothes and was extremely patient with us.
Would highly highly recommend this tour with Dinu and the safari tour with Janaka. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience!!

We had Jankan as our guide and he was absolutely amazing , he was very welcoming to our requests and very flexible with the itinerary , he didnot rush us at all and made sure we spent enough time in every place, and even gave us some tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Amazing tour, I’m a photographer and I know I'm very picky and demanding when comes to locations and stoping on the road and customizing my private tours and this one was beyond what I wanted. I never felt rushed or pushed to finish any site I visited. Highly recommend for solo travelers and couples.

Janaka was brilliant, really friendly thoughtful as had packed additional water, a sarong for temples, sun cream etc.. he was really knowledgeable and made sure our day fitted our needs. Highly recommend, he’s been the best driver we have had in Sri Lanka by far!
We really enjoyed how knowledgable Janika was! For us it was a deep-dive into the culture as well as a touri-tour to the most famous places in the culture triangle, a temple in Matale, the herbal garden (incl. massage), Sigyria Rock and Dambulla (Caves). He even gave us the chance to participate at an Elephant Safari - which also was one of the secret achievements of this tour. Despite we were coming home a bit later than expected, Janika didn't charge us more or anything. 100% worth the trip + tip! Book this guy!!
Sigiriya was worth the effort to visit it. Great panoramic view from its summit.

Jakala, la nostra guida, è stata molto al di sopra delle nostre aspettative. Ci ha accompagnato al punto di partenza per salire alla Rocca di Sigiryia, spiegandoci ciò che avremo visto. Senza i suoi consigli, durante la discesa, ci saremmo persi i graffiti, e la parete specchio. Al Tempio di Dambulla è entrato con noi, ci ha spiegato i vari significati all'interno di ogni grotta rivelandosi molto preparato.

Me gustó mucho el tour sobre todo la parte del safari, para esto se contrata a alguien más que te lleva a los lugares dónde generalmente puedes ver elefantes, vimos quizás unos 20 en grupos y fue espectacular aún a pesar del sol que estaba fuertisimo.
El lugar de comida muy rico y económico, además de los otros lugares fueron muy interesantes y hermosos.
Lo único que no me gustó es que al principio íbamos corriendo, no soy una persona que le guste hacer las cosas corriendo aparte que ese día amanecí un poco indispuesta, quizás para llegar antes de la hora del servicio hay que salir más temprano y él puede darlo como recomendación en lugar de ir corriendo a los lugares, además al final de la tarde él ya parecía cansado.
Lo demás estuvo muy bien.

Chauffeur sympathique oui. Prix intéressant également. Toutes les visites mentionnées ont été faites dans cette riche journée mais….au pas de course pour les 2 premières (les temples). Ensuite le jardin des épices est un véritable attrape touriste, demandez à ne pas y aller ça vous permettra de rallonger le temps pour les temples! Sigiriya: guide « imposé » etpayant bien sûr non mentionné avant…. Enfin, pour le parc de Minneriya, eh bien on s’est fait avoir également : on avait négocié avec ce prestataire la jeep et chauffeur et billets parc qques jours avant cette activité. Le prix était bien intéressant par rapport au prix trouvé sur internet. Sauf que nous ne sommes pas allé à Minneriya mais dans un ecopark! On ne l’a su que le lendemain. Bon on a vu plein d’éléphants, mais au final on nous a pris un peu pour des c… À bon entendeur!

And you have mentioned about the spice garden . This place is government approvaled place as well as registered company of Sri Lanka tourist board . So there are no trap . Also for the cave temple we gave you 45minutes .it’s mentioned in itinerary . Also our driver climb with you this rock temple .
Also guide at lion rock is not our job we mentioned it what’s not included . Finally about the safari .these days minneriya national park full of water if you go there you will not able to see any animal . That is why we do safari at Ecko park . It also part of mantis Al park . On this day if you went to that park you waste your time and the money.you have already seen more than 40 elephants. I think you will understand this.
Meillä oli huikea päiväreissu! Janaka nouti meidät majoituksesta täsmällisesti sovittuun aikaan. Saimme muokata päivän ohjelmaa toiveidemme mukaan. Vierailimme parissa temppelissä, Pidurangala -kalliolla, ja jeeppisafarilla Minneriya -kansallispuistossa. Janaka on todella hauska ja huomaavainen kuski! Nautimme seurasta ja opastuksesta matkan aikana. Hän piti huolen että pysyimme aikataulussa ja saimme napata matkalla ruokaa ja juomaa kun siltä tuntui. Hänen kanssa oli helppo kommunikoida englanniksi jo ennen matkaa ja päiväretken aikana. Kiitos unohtumattomasta kokemuksesta Janaka!
