Yusuf was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge of the country and the sights we visited. We visited a waterfall, my highlight was a short hike through the rain forest, and of course the source of the Nile River! A beautiful country, and a brilliant guide, especially since I did the tour solo. I would recommend him to anyone enjoying nature!

The road to and from Jinja is very busy so stopping at the waterfall is a nice opportunity to stretch your legs. The boat ride was fun and informative, a good way to experience the start of the Nile.
An amazing tour! I highly recommend. Yusuf was professional, proactive, communicative, thoughtful, and very personable. Felt very comfortable as a solo female travel.
Ein ganz toller Trip mit Guide und Driver Iusuf. The white Nile at it's best and the waterfall stopp great as well.

We had a very historic and scenic adventure with our very knowledgeable tour with Yusuf. He took us to 'the house of snacks' to eat the local yummy cuisines. Highly recommend!!!

Thank you so much Anthony for an excellent feedback.
It is a long road trip as traffic is a nightmare. We spent 6.5 hrs travelling to spend 2 hrs in Jinja. The town itself is nothing. The boat to source of Nile is a nice boat trip in a traditional boat. The falls are also nice, alot of greenery and bamboo forest.
For me it is not value for money. It is a very expensive Tour for what is offered.
The lunch was a traditional Ugandan lunch. I chose the fish broth which was lovely with sides of matoke, rice, a cornflour oaste and green vegetable. The restaurant setting land surroundings left somethjng to be desired as it looked very cheap, like a roadside Cafe. Toilets squat.
What annoyed me was the expectation that I was to tip absolutely everyone, the guide at the falls, the boat driver, the guy at Source of the Nile. I paid USD 210 for the "tour" assuming the boat owner would be paid, that the guide is paid by the Falls instead they seem to expect something which gets totally out of hand,. Fir this reason I wouldn't recommend booking this tour. You might be best choosing your own local guide bug even then it seems every Tom Dick and Harry wants a piece if the pie.
My driver was expert, knowledgeable and navigated the traffic well
I had an amazing time! In just one day we visited the forest, waterfall and the source of the Nile. Everything was well organised and we didn't feel pressed for time. In each place, we were accompanied by a different local guide. Yusuf, the driver, is friendly, knowledgeable and very organised. Highly recommended!
Great tour! On the way to the lake, we did 2 stops one on a waterfall (super) and other walking through a forest (medium)
The boat trip was great, including a fish fabric; wow; food in a typical local restaurant; tried to Charge me despite it was included
Very good driver (Byaruhanga), professional, secure and helpful; helped me to buy Uganda coffee; Highlights recommendableq
Had a lovely time with Yusuf on the source of the river Nile tour. Yusuf is a very knowledgeable guy and was great company on the trip. I would highly recommend this tour.
Took this day trip to the source of the Nile. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the source of the Nile point was interesting, and the waterfall was also really cool. Yusuf was my guide and he was fantastic - great communication before and during the tour. He is an honest man and also flexible to my needs and easygoing. An ambassador for Uganda!
During the tour you will probably meet 3 other local guides and a boat captain. I recommend you bring change in local currency as it can help support the local economy.
Joseph was a wonderful guide to Sezibwa Falls, Mabira woods and Jinja city, the source of the Nile.
He was very knowledgeable about Ugandan history and culture and we delighted in learning so much about the everyday joys and challenges of living in Uganda.
I had difficulty walking up and down steep trails and Joseph very attentively guided me.
Joseph is a superb driver and very patient and calm amidst the chaos of driving conditions in Uganda.
We highly recommend this tour and Joseph as a guide.
Yusuf was the best tour guide and gave us an unforgettable experience visiting Jinja and the source of the Nile! We had so much fun with him learning about the history of these locations and enjoying the beautiful scenery. We’d recommend Yusuf and this tour to anyone looking for a fun, affordable day-trip to Jinja!
I would recommend this to everyone visiting Uganda. It was the most incredible day full of new experiences. The source of the Nile especially is a must see.
It is very well organised and Yusef took great care of us every step of the way. I can’t recommend them enough and we will definitely be back for more tours.
