I had an incredible one-day tour to Jinja with Nasser! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and fun. From visiting Sezibwa Falls to the Source of the Nile, every stop was well-planned and informative. The boat ride on the Nile and riverside lunch were highlights. Nasser went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore Jinja in a day!

I enjoyed this tour and my guide, Nassar, was friendly and informative. My only complaint was the terrible traffic that day which resulted in the trip taking 10 hours round-trip from Kampala, which I wasn’t expecting. I do recommend wearing sturdy shoes for hiking around the waterfall and getting on-off the boat at Lake Victoria.

I booked this tour blind for the morning after my arrival in Uganda from UK, and was a little apprehensive. I need not have been. Nasser arrived punctually for a 7am start with an impressive vehicle, and proved a congenial and knowledgeable companion for the day. We had sufficient time to enjoy all the main points on the itinerary, though some of the lesser ones were drive-bys unless you request a stop. Particularly impressive was the close up views of the abundant birdlife on the banks of Lake Victoria. The only downside was the gridlocked traffic on the return to Kampala, prepare for the trip to take longer than expected.

Great experience! The tour took me to Jinja, a waterfall, the Nile River, Lake Victoria, and more. My guide was amazing. They were informative and have lots of interesting information about the place we visited. The local restaurant has a wide variety of food to try and the day was relaxing and fun.

Malik and Andrew were fantastic hosts on our 1 day tour to Jinja and the source of the Nile. They knew so much about Uganda and were able to answer any questions we had about the local area. The highlight was definitely the Sezibwa falls, the boat tour to the source of the river Nile and that they both take great photos. I highly recommend them as tour guides and to take this tour for the day.

It was a fun day and the driver was nice and knowledgeable. I do think it’s quite overpriced for what it is. The boat ride on the Nile was very short and most of the time was spent driving around. It was still nice to see Jinja and the driver made sure we were comfortable.

This was a trip organized last minute and was really enjoyable! Nasser was an incredible guide and went out of his way to make the day worthwhile. The side trips to Ssezibwa falls and the route back via Namugongo were appreciated. Nasser has good cultural knowledge about the two kingdoms i.e. Buganda and Busoga, and his interactions with the locals in both languages made for interesting conversations. Would recommend the trip for solo travelers or groups.

The selected items on the tour were really interesting --the falls were beautiful and it was great to hear about the cultural significance of them. Lake Victoria and the Source of the Nile were great and the highlight for me. I was solo, and perhaps it was because of this, but unfortunately my guide was on his phone approximately 70-80% of the time, either on calls, some on speaker, and he also was texting while driving. He was arranging another tour with a day of request, but some of the calls also appeared to be personal. He apologized at the end of the tour that he was on his phone too much, but this was an expensive trip and really significantly affected my experience of the day. It was hard to unwind and take the experience in.

This was such a fun day trip and Nasser, our host, was amazing! My favorite parts were learning more about the springs and how it connected to Buganda and Busoga Kingdoms, and seeing all the wildlife on the Nile, including monkeys, salamanders, and many types of birds. Nasser even helped me obtain a Rolex for the ride home since I was told they are extra delicious in Jinja. Thank you, Nasser, for a fun day!
