It’s just simply hard to express in words the amazing day our family spent in Kamakura with Brad. We booked the tour last minute around the holidays as we were looking to see a different side of Tokyo beyond the flashing lights and crowds. Bamboo, Buddha and Zen was the antidote. We were grateful that he made time for us last minute. Brad was great with communication from the start and was patient and guided us when we found ourselves at the wrong train stop. We were also drawn to having Brad as an English speaking guide and hearing about his experience of Japan and the culture as a transplant. During the tour, we found Brad to be chock full of information, easy going, considerate, professional, and easy to talk to. We were a diverse group including a teenager, young adult and middle aged folks and he was able to connect easily with us all. We learned so much at the temples, enjoyed matcha in the bamboo garden, and had the most delicious meal of our trip in Kamakura. We appreciated that he always was considerate to ask if we wanted photos taken and to keep safe our tickets and pamphlets as mementos. Brad insisted on remaining with us and escorting us back to the station at the end of the day - despite our retail meanderings along the way. If you’re thinking about this tour, we really can’t recommend it quite enough. You won’t regret it.

Thank you kindly for taking the time to write such a heartwarming review, Deanna-san.
I’m thrilled to read that you all enjoyed an amazing day in magical Kamakura and could experience a different side of Japan to Tokyo’s hustle and bustle.
Kamakura is full of Spartan charm & I had a wonderful time showcasing its charms to you all. I was most impressed with some of the excellent questions I fielded - but more than that - how lovely you all were as a group. Thanks kindly for treating me lunch and also your generosity at the end of the tour.
Looking forward to keeping in touch and I will most definitely accept your kind invitation to come and visit you in the States. Please pass on my regards to everyone and thanks again for everything.
Warm regards,
Brad

This tour was amazing and Brad, the guide was beyond helpful from start to finish. Even before the tour Brad helped explain getting a Suica card and where I could access additional cash if needed.
As for the tour, Kamakura is beautiful and you can tell Brad loves his home. He took his time explaining everything about each location and provided history and insights into everything. He also helped us get around and navigate the shoping district.
This tour was amazing and I can't say enough nice things about the guide.

Waking up to read that you all had a great day in Kamakura is most rewarding/encouraging. Despite the jet lag, you all pushed on like champions for a solid 7 hours. I really appreciate the kind customer feedback. Enjoy the rest of your time in Japan and please keep in touch.
Many thanks - Brad.

Brad is a fantastic guide- flexible, informative, and friendly! The day was well-paced and we got in a nice short hike through an historic pass, temples and shrines that were interesting to us, a delicious lunch, and breaks and shopping as neede. He is very knowledgeable on the area and the history- highly recommend!

Appreciate the kind feedback, Patrick-san. Am delighted to read that you all had a great day. It was awesome to meet your lovely family. Wishing you all the very best & hope you will return to Japan someday and visit us again. Likewise - re: a visit to the States & an authentic Philly cheesesteak. - Cheers, Brad

Wonderful day in Kamakura with Brad. Highly reccomend Brad and the B,B and Z tour. Brad was very knowledgable and put together a great tour that was catered to us and our interests. Brad knew the right amount of things and the diversity of sites to see without feeling rushed. We got a big dose of history, art, and Zen - just what we were looking for- Great Buddha, temples, vegetarian lunch on the beach all wonderful, as was the green tea at the bamboo forest . Brad's upbeat energetic personality and 20+ year living in Kamakura made him an outstanding tour guide. .
