Overview

- We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.
- Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly.
- We consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

- Guests with any medical conditions, that they feel AirVentures should be made aware of, accept the responsibility to advise us accordingly.
- All passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight, and must be able to enter and exit the basket.
- To conform with the industry accepted practice, we consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant.
- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly.
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- Operates all year round, please dress appropriately. Flat shoes are recommended.
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

Fabulous experience - a must do. Extremely well organised with great communication. The views are breathtaking and the icing on the cake was the champagne and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this.

What an amazing morning we had. Our pilot Japie was so engaging, funny & knowledgeable. The views were incredible & we even spotted Giraffes & Antelopes.

Wonderful trip with Mark! Felt so safe and comfortable and now my colleagues and I can't wait for our next hot air balloon experience! We drove about an hour out of the city at 4am to get to the lodge and felt safe on the road with a private driver.

From the point we arrived until we left, we were taken care of. We travelled to the lodge via uber and arrived nice and early.Marius was very funny and put us at our ease. After some refreshments and some paperwork, we headed to the take-off site. Amazing to see the balloons being inflated. Adam, our pilot, was calm, funny and very knowledgeable about the animals we saw. Just a wonderful, peaceful and unique way to see the countryside! Even though it was cold in June, definitely recommend it.

The most incredible to start to my birthday, from arrival to departure!
Adam was a fantastic pilot spotting white rhino, giraffes and zebra on our flight. He was very informative and willingly answered all passengers questions. Thank you for making my birthday extra special 🥳

Everything was just an new beautiful adventure and learning experience, from arrival at the launch site to seeing the size of the balloon in real life the sound of the heat gas tank and how hot the flame is. To meeting the Captain and the briefing we received from him before we took off. Capt kept us informed of his movements and what and where, we were flying over at all times.
We spotted animals, river, hills, land (cradle of humankind), lodge, mountains, trees, beautiful blue Skye’s, sun and clouds we had view of other balloons which was beautiful to watch and it gave us a chance to take beautiful pictures of the other balloons from our flight. Ooohhhh!!! The landing was spot on!!! Beautiful and amazing…

The flight over the Rhino & Lion farm spotting some Rhino and White Lion was awesome.
The weather was perfect, and the Pilot was very impressive in handing the Hot air Balloon.
The bubbly after landing was a nice touch to end of the amazing flight.
The breakfast at the Kloofzicht Lodge was great.

The entire experience was amazing. We started with watching the sun rise over the valley and then traveled to the launch site. At the launch site the balloons were partially inflated with the rising sun as a back drop, it was utterly breath taking. We then loaded in the basket after the safety instructions. We then took off and ascended into the air. It was amazing to see the landscape, the launch site was perfectly situated in a valley that had such picturesque views. As we floated we were able to see various animals, such as zebras, giraffe, bucks and warthogs. Our trp was approximately an hour long which was adequate. We then landed in a nearby field. Our capital Raun landed the balloon with such excellent precision. After the landing we were given champagne and our flying certificates. And at the end of it all we had a very delicious gourmet breakfast at the lodge. The entire experience was amazing and highly recommended.
