Guided Tour Jaipur

I was extremely disappointed with the guided Jaipur tour. The tour guide was not organised and had a very poor command of the English language which made it challenging to understand and communicate effectively. We had requested for a late start to our 8-hour tour and were told after a 3.5-hour tour of the Amber Fort that the tour would be cut short due to time constraints & traffic. If that was the case, we should have been informed ahead of time so we could have decided if we wanted to sign up for the tour. We requested a partial refund but the Viator reps gave us the standard clause "The Viator group companies are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, …." I felt that Viator should have taken ownership for services they advertise and not pass the buck back to the tour operator. Wonder if they have a vetting process to screen the tour operator before promoting the tour ?. I would definitely not recommend using Viator again!! NK

Dear Guest, Thank you very Much for writing this review. You already know the truth but still to let the beautiful upcoming travellers know we would like to share the real story here with all. You booked this Tour on Dec 27th 2019 with a time slot of 12 Noon and then you immediately called and Emailed Supplier that you wish to start the tour at 2 PM instead and would also like to skip City Palace and Jantar Mantar. We also have that with us on our Email which any Guest can demand by sending us an email on info@unseenindia.us Our Team i.e. the Vehicle,Driver & Guide reported and time and showed you the Amber Fort and Jal Mahal and by the time you were done with those sited the monuments closing time approached and same was told to you by our Guide as well. But you wanted to use the Vehicle and Driver services for visiting the malls and markets that doesn't even exist in Jaipur and we really don't know from where you got the information about such places. Our Guide also offered you to drop you off at any specific place but you wanted to utilise the vehicle even after the specified timings. Later on you contacted Viator about refund and when we shared your email and communication history with them they declined your refund request. We would like to know that when at the time of booking you were so active in calling and emailing the Supplier that why didn't you contacted the supplier again in the evening that day when the Tour got over and you had so many issues. It was simply clear that you wanted to misuse the services and had intentions to get the refund even after getting the complete services. We are glad that we had your Email as a proof with us wherein you yourself have stated about not visiting few sites. You must also understand that opening time of the monuments in Jaipur at 9 AM till 5 PM and you booked the Tour for 12 Noon and later requested the vehicle at 2 PM and were told by the supplier that you will not be able to cover the monuments but you reverted that you don't wish to see some monuments and here in the review you have mentioned services were offered to you for 3.5 Hrs so if the tour was started at 2 PM so 5:30 PM was the time when you were done with the Amber Fort, so what can we do in that ? We have almost all the positive review about this review and all of them are 5 Star and it has become possible just because we delivered what we committed. Have a Great Day and Be Positive !! :)

Dilip our guide and Hari our driver provided the perfect day out seeing all the main attractions of Jaipur. We were picked up on time in an air conditioned car on a very hot day. The time spent at each site was just right with just enough information. My husband really enjoyed the observatory. We both found the Amber Fort fascinating. I cannot recommend these two gentlemen highly enough. They also had a bit of a wait for us while we purchased an emerald eternity ring to mark a memorable year for us.
