A tour is the way to go, and we would highly recommend it and our tour guide, John. John was very knowledgeable, organized, and accommodating. He maximized the use of our time, while allowing us the opportunity to just soak in the beauty of the park. One of the best things about a tour is that you are dropped off and picked up near the venue you are visiting, saving the time and frustration of parking and walking, often over 30 minutes, to your destination. John even sent us a link afterwards to view pictures and videos that he had taken on our trip. I might also add that the meals and snacks provided on the tour were delicious, and there was always cold water available to keep us hydrated!
Great way to see a lot of the park highlights without the hassle of navigating or parking. Eddie was the best guide that we could have asked for!
We spent an excellent two days in the park.
Even before the trip started Kilmenny, the owner of the tour company kept us updated about the logistics, so we were totally relaxed. The hotel she suggested we book for the night stay was very good. Our stay in the North cabin of the hotel was an amazing one too…. Perfect for a nature trip such as this .
John our tour escort is just wonderful… he is passionate both about the park and his job. Consequently, he shared a wealth of information with us that enriched our experience immensely; especially about the history of the park and 399! He pointed out gems in the park that we would have missed otherwise.

Our guide John was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic about Yellowstone. We saw a wolf, coyote, and herds of Bisons … and we were not tossed! He knew exactly where to go, shared interesting stories and facts throughout the day, and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. We saw and learned far more than we ever could have exploring on our own.
We experienced a very memorable 2-day tour of Teton Grand and Yellowstone Nat'l Park. Our tour guide, Shane, was a fantastic guide who gave us plenty of information about the places we saw, has a good sense of humor which we enjoyed, has good driving skills and a true professional and very knowledgeable tour guide. Our 2-day Yellowstone tour with Joe was absolutely incredible! I truly can’t imagine having a better tour guide. Joe was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience so enjoyable for our family. He made sure we saw it all while also making sure we were comfortable, safe, and having an amazing time throughout the entire two days.
If you’re considering a Yellowstone tour, I highly recommend doing the 2-day tour. It really is the way to go—you get to experience so much of the park without feeling rushed, and Joe made sure we didn’t miss a thing.

We had a wonderful two-day Yellowstone tour with our guide, John. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and organized the schedule well. We were able to visit many beautiful sights, learn a lot about Yellowstone, and fully enjoy the amazing scenery. We saw many bison and deer, and even spotted a black bear by the roadside. John also kindly helped us take photos throughout the trip. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide Joe was great,well versed in the history and science of the park.If this is your 1st visit to yellowstone.this tour is the way to go.
The tour was great and let us see a lot of Yellowstone. Eddie was a great guide and driver. He knew the best spots to see things and take pictures. He made sure we got to see Old Faithful and took us around the back so we avoided much of the crowds. He was also great at spotting animals while he drove. We got to see a lot of cool animals including a Grizzly Bear and 2 Moose.
The destinations were all wonderful. May is baby season, so I saw adorable moose baby and bison baby! Lamar Valley is must! Our guide John was so kind and knowledgeable, he found so many wonderful wild seane which I couldn’t if I go by myself.
I cannot say enough good things about my Yellowstone Tour with Teton Floats! We had the BEST guide in John, who provided comprehensive information about the park geography, resident animals, thermal features, and about 100 other questions I threw his way. I appreciated how he explained where and why we might see certain animals (and the reality that sightings are not guaranteed due to those factors). We got to see SO many different animals thanks to his skills, and he even used his spotting scope to find a mountain goat high up on a mountain ridge (a RARE treat!). He NAILED it on the timing to best take advantage of park traffic patterns. Save yourself so much trouble, and tour with this company. You’ll experience Yellowstone in ways you can’t imagine. I highly recommend going in the late spring. If you’re lucky, you’ll get John as your guide!

You won’t regret taking the 2 day Yellowstone Tour. Our guide, John, did an exceptional job explaining Yellowstone landscapes, wildlife, geothermal wonders and other Wyoming & Montana facts. We saw beautiful country, various wildlife and all the sites as detailed on the itinerary. Six people were on the tour and John took excellent care of us. The van was comfortable and walking was manageable for us retirees. Kilmeny was wonderful to work with on the booking side. This tour is a must. You will leave the tour with a deeper and better appreciation of our national parks.
We saw many different types of animals and scenery. John was an amazing guide! The weather was diverse which made it even better.
Enjoy the view and embrace the surprises! John Putrino was excellent In offering history of the area and appreciation for this ecosystem. His passion for the area was evident throughout our 2 days. My advice would be to take the tour without any expectations and enjoy the moments as the experience unfolds. The Mountain View’s and variety of waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking.
Our guide Anderson is a very caring and good person, ensuring all of us be sent to the right places. He also gave us some recommendations about local restaurants. For someone being here for the first time like me, this really helps. Most importantly, He brought us to the majority of the attractions and animals here, absolute excellent experience

This was the most amazing experience! I highly recommend the 2 day guided tour if it's your first time in Yellowstone. Our guide John was on time, very personable, very knowledgeable, and made this whole experience the absolute best. He educated us about the history of Yellowstone and how it's kept healthy and thriving. We saw so many things in this two days it felt like we had been there a whole week. The wildlife experience was life changing! I cannot say enough about Teton Floats and our guide, John. I would absolutely do this tour again. Kilmany was very professional and really worked hard to get in touch with me about the arrangements. Our snacks and lunches were fresh and delicious. John doesn't leave anymore behind!
5 stars is not enough to rate this experience. Our guide John was absolutely amazing! We were hesitant to book at first because of the price but it was worth every penny (and then some). Trying to plan our Yellowstone/Teton visit was so overwhelming. This excursion took all that away. We saw everything we wanted to and more without the stress of planning it ourselves. If we got somewhere and the parking lot was packed, John would drop us off with clear instructions as to where to walk/stand for optimal views. We didn't have to waste time finding a parking spot and walking. We saw sooo much more than we would have on our own not to mention how knowledgeable he was. If wildlife was spotted far away he would bring out his telescope for us to use. We watched a wolf pack that we would have never seen if it wasn't for that. Chico Springs was a wonderful experience...rustic but great. We ate at the bar and grill and it was delicious. The next morning we were all up bright and early and in the park for sunrise. If you are stressed trying to figure out an itinerary for maximizing your time in the parks I can't recommend this tour enough. They do all the planning and you can just sit back and take it all in.
John from Teton Floats was by far the best tour guide we have ever met! Very personable and knowledgeable about Yellowstone. We saw a grisly bear five minutes after entering the park! We also saw two black bear cubs with Mom in a tree, bald eagles, tons of bison and elk. Such a great trip!
Just in case you did not see it, this is an overnight tour and you need to get a hotel room. If you like rustic, then Chico Hot Springs is for you.
If we ever get back to Jackson, we will definitely be requesting John at Teton Floats for our next tour!
Our two day tour through the Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks was very complete!
Our “ foursome” thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our experience. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the parks. He was very caring and attentive to the safety and needs of his tourists. He has a keen sense in spotting wildlife.

The fee for the tour was reasonable because we acquired “tons” of new knowledge, saw spectacular landscapes, and enjoyed the ride-along through Yellowstone.
Great tour! John was a very knowledgeable guide and worked around all weather related obstacles we had to ensure we had the best experience and saw all kinds of wildlife including bears, elk, and wolves. Would highly recommend. Note: book your overnight stay in advance, prepare for snow in October, and bring your own water bottle. Water is provided but its in an aluminum can.
Fantastic choice we made ! Everyday was smooth and insightful! Shane , our guide was calm and patient ; with his life experiences and great teaching skills he lead this trip thoroughly! So many thrills seeing the wildlife and wonders that we did . Perfect! No complaints ! Thanks for dropping us off at our last hotel with short notice.
This is a wonderful tour which includes every attraction in Yellowstone. John is extremely knowledgeable and personable and provided us with a truly memorable experience. I cannot recommend this tour, and John, enough.

This 2 day tour and our guide John was fantastic! Had a great time visiting the waterfalls, thermal features, geothermal springs, and wildlife. Couldn't have asked for a beautiful trip through Yellowstone and Grand Teton.
Would give this tour more stars if I could. We got the full Yellowstone experience from glaciers and other formations to lots of wildlife sitings. John P was a super knowledgeable and experienced guide and lots of fun.. Kilmeny who works behind the scenes was really great as well.
