Interesting tour in general. Would like more information from guide. Many times quiet and not forward with information. Had to ask many questions. Encourage guide to create more relationships with market vendors and share their stories. Two vendor stops with known owners made for a delightful visit. Would want more of this along with history.

Not even sure where to begin. Selim was amazing! We met at the Clocktower, which was a few minutes walk from our hotel. We spent 5 amazing hours walking around this fabulous city! Selim did not miss one thing and gave us quite a few wonderful recommendations to make it an absolutely perfect day! Cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

This was an incredible tour. Some walking while not too much even for our advanced age. Our tour guide Elçin was exceptional with 18 years experience and a native of Izmir. Extremely educational tour while also a fun time.

Nothing was good about this tour. What was included, like Tram ride, never took place. Put it this way, there's no need to take a tour. Just read from the Google the history of places to visit, and take a taxi. You will understand more and save a lot. By the way, that's exactly what our tour guide was doing - taxi rides! Izmir is a great place for Tour, but please don't spoil you fun and waste money on this - Oh, it was a terrible experience!

The tour is a walking tour as indicated on the website and on the other hand the meeting point is normally in front of the Clock Tower which is situated at Konak Square. Upon your request, our guide came to your hotel and instead of taking the tram, we took a taxi to the Elevator area as a favour. At this point it is quite important to emphasize that the tour is a walking tour and the tram is used for the tour, no private car is reserved for this tour. Afterwards, a second favour which was offered to you was to go to the historical region, which should normally be crossed by tram, again by taxi. After visiting the Roman Agora in the historical area, all the points were shown by our guide by walking in the car-free zone. Due to the hot weather, our guide informed us that you wanted to finish your tour early after your spouse got sick, and we know that you returned to your hotel by taxi. Apart from everything it is very important to emphasize that our travel agency supports the sustainability thus we encourage our to tours to support the climate and sustainability. Our Agency has fulfilled all its promises in this regard; It also responded positively to your special requests, such as using a taxi instead of a tramway, or changing the pick-up location. This tour you normally take is a regular tour, and we would like to inform you that no personal changes are made in such tours. Our hearts are at ease because we do what we have promised in the tours. We thank you for not exactly true comment and wish you all the best in your future life.

Elcin was our guide. She provided a comprehensive tour of Izmir's city sites. She ensured that the tour also covered areas of our interests. The small size of our group permitted this personalization. Elcin shared her love of the city and gave us a glimpse of why this region of Turkey is special for her. FUN TOUR OF IZMIR

I so enjoyed my tour of Izmir. Resat is a fantastic tour guide! I was fortunate to have a private tour. The city is very interesting and has a lot of history. Not only were there Ancient Greeks but also Romans and Sephardic Jews. Resat showed me several of the colorful neighborhoods. The ancient Agora, bizarre for shopping and clock tower are wonderful, and are highlights. I also sampled a Sephardic Jewish treat called 'boyoz' and also a wonderful pastry unique to Izmir. Resat was aware of my Greek heritage and we toured a lovely old Greek Orthodox Church and saw some Synagogues. He also went out of his way to show me another church and I was able to attend a service that evening. I highly recommend this tour. Please request Resat as he will tailor the trip to your interests.

Great way to learn about Izmir

Great tour with Elcin (guide) and Cengis (driver) from Gezenthi Travel Agency. Good communication prior to pickup, knowledgable guide, and safe driver. Tour visited a small number of important places, allowing a good amount of time to absorb details and take photographs. The tour provides a great overview of places you will want to return to later in order to explore them properly.
