Wonderful visit to Pergamon

The Pergamon tour was enjoyable and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of this important and ancient city. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing and the theater (steepest sloped theater in the ancient world) was pretty impressive. The visit to the Asklepion was also very interesting as we learned how the Romans treated patients as part of a holistic approach to healing. I especially liked how this tour did not stop for any shopping excursions and was focused only on the historical sites. The included lunch buffet in the town was also delicious! I highly recommend taking a visit to Pergamon with this tour company if you are in the area.
