Overview

The Seven Churches of Revelation, mentioned by Jesus to John of Patmos in Revelation 1:11, are all located in western Turkey. On this tour, set out on a 3-day pilgrimage to visit all seven churches—Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. Along the way, explore the ancient city of Ephesus, admire the famous travertine terraces of Pamukkale, and visit the House of the Virgin Mary.

Itinerary

Day 1 commences with a warm welcome at Izmir Airport or your centrally located hotel in Izmir or Kusadasi. Then, traverse Pergamon, exploring the Akropolis Ancient City and the Church of Pergamon.

After a comfortable night’s rest in Pergamon, Day 2 unfolds with visits to Sardis, Philadelphia, Thyatira, and the ancient city of Hierapolis, followed by a tranquil visit to the Pamukkale travertines.

The adventure continues on Day 3 with a trip to Laodicea and the UNESCO-listed Ephesus Archeological Site, including St. John Basilica and the last abode of the Virgin Mary. The historical adventure concludes with a return to Izmir Airport or your hotel.
